FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The haircut prices are pretty straight forward. My prices for color are what people tend to get confused. All my prices for color are at a "starting at" price which means that it can go up depending on how much color we use. The first bowl of color is included in the price, then any additional bowl is $10. Example: A client comes in and wants an all over color. The starting price is $60. I start by mixing one bowl of color (first bowl inclulded in price) and apply it to the hair. If I finish the first bowl and still need more color, I'll have to mix another bowl which will be $10 more so the price total is $70.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take classes on the newest trends every so often. Every once in a while I'll take a class on some of the things I already know just as a refresher course.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to go into hair. I can pin point it to 4th grade when i realized that i wanted to do hair. After that I would do my sister's hair then my friends hair for their special occasions. When I finally went to school, I worked harder than ever to be on the honors list and made it on the deans list. So now that I've graduated, i'm living my dream!
