Introduction: Leadership Development of Emerging Leaders: Often, an organization wants to focus on their up and coming leaders to help make sure they are successful in the long term. I offer a series of courses, training, and coaching that help that happen. Customized Leadership Training Courses: Captus5 develops unique courses to meet the needs of the specific organization. This is done by integrating video of current leaders, educational material relevant to the market, and training solutions that facilitate and track progress. Courses can be created for online or live implementation, or a blend of online and live interaction. Technology Management Operations: Regarding technology, systems, and application development, my focus is on business alignment between technology or development organizations and processes with the business objectives. I link all the way through to the strategic objectives and focus on speed to market issues. Turn-Around Expertise: I provide the leadership to turn around a situation. To do this, it generally requires me to come in under contract for a period of time to lead an organization through the turn-around. I do not push this offering — it is something that is occasionally needed if an organization is in transition already and/or does not have the right leadership in place. My entire goal with this process is to cause the needed change and to find my replacement as fast as possible. Strategic Planning: I have a set of tools that aid organizations in creating strategy.

    Look for creativity and for a breadth of experience. There are many approaches to developing leaders and managers. The key is to recognize that a customized approach is best. Leadership and Management, both as an art, are relative to the organizational culture within which they operate. In other words, you want to have a leadership development process that strengthens the qualities most in demand by the organization.
