I had a good experience with the bass teacher there. Good environment for beginners.
I searched for a long time for a guitar teacher who could help further my personal goals as a guitarist and was very particular with my choices. However, once I saw this gentleman play I immediately knew that he's guy who can break boundaries on the instrument, and you can imagine that I was psyched to learn he offered lessons. Micah is nothing short of a brilliant musician, a mastermind of technical acrobatics, a shredder of the highest caliber, and simultaneous loaded with knowledge and skill across many styles of music and types of guitar playing. As a teacher, he's patient, humble, encouraging, and a genuinely nice guy. All in all, I highly recommend Micah as a teacher, You will certainly get your money's worth and be surprised on how much you'll learn!
Best guitar lessons ever! My daughter and I have been taking lessons from Mike for about two years. We have both made great strides in our technique, music reading, and overall ability. Mike is completely dedicated to our progress. His own understanding of the instrument is amazing! I feel like we should be paying double for this level of professionalism, experience, and knowledge. He can coach on any area you want to improve on; singing while playing, a some specific music genres are some we've focused on lately. He is very workable with scheduling and provides makeup lessons if needed. We will be students as long as he teaches!
Kevin is a first class musician who knows his trade and craft well, he is patient, encouraging, and methodically presents the lessons so I learn not only how to play guitar but the music theory behind as well. Too bad I had to leave Utah to return home after a few months of contract work otherwise I am sure I will continue to take lessons from this talented young man.
I had only been playing for a few months before my lessons with George, and now Ive been playing for nearly three years; having lessons for most of that time. I was a little hesitant at the idea of taking guitar lessons at first, as I had no idea what to expect from them. I had totally convinced myself that I didnt need any sort of teaching, and that I was perfectly fine to limit my playing to just guitar tablature, but that definitely didnt stop my parents from having me take lessons! For only having a small amount of time put into this instrument, I was headed down the right track with Georges influential lessons. He was able to assess my current playing and promptly started me out on things that I felt were making me improve, and that were at the right difficulty for me. George also didnt always have me play things that he wanted, but rather, he always looked for input from me, for music that I liked to play, or songs that I enjoyed listening to, and then had me work on things similar to that. Even after a couple of lessons, I felt like I had learnt so much, and improved tremendously. If you ever feel like youre stuck in a playing rut, or if you are just starting out on the guitar, then coming to George will be perfect for you. Hes incredibly smart, very experienced, well versed in all sorts of genres and techniques, super helpful in buying new guitars and other equipment, and he is totally willing to get you to where you need to be! Lessons with George were amazing for me, and totally redefined how I should play and think about playing guitar. This guy is awesome! -Harrison S West Valley City, UT
Very skilled at the guitar and has a passion for music.
I've been taking lessons with Austin for over a year now and couldn't be happier. I took lessons previous for five years on acoustic guitar, and then taught myself electric. I felt I needed more professional help on my electric guitar and decided to take lessons from Austin. My playing has improved immensely and I understand more music theory than I ever could have learned by myself or on YouTube. The overall experience has been great and I'm excited to learn more each week.
Ongoing beginner guitar lessons. Very patient and knowledgeable. Excellent on the guitar and he can relate his passion for music in the way he teaches.
Not only is Denson an extremely sought after professional bass player, he is a distinguished and exceptional pedagogue. He has a warm personality which makes him very approachable, and lessons with him are an absolute blast. His approach to teaching has taken my bass playing and musicianship to another level. He is super responsive throughout the week to any questions I have, and provides tips to improve my practice. I couldn't recommend Denson more.
I've took lessons from Justin a few years ago, he's really great and encouraging. He has a great knowledge in guitars, technique and theory. I even learned something in music theory that I still use to this day and is far more useful than the standard circle of 5ths chart given to me in a music theory class that didn't teach me this trick. I would highly recommend him.
Beatrice is amazing. Her methods and skills are fantastic. I am extremely pleased I found her for Vocal coaching, could not have done better. Thanks for helping us find her Reverb Lessons!
I've played guitar for 12 years and taught lessons for 8. I can play a wide variety of genres and styles of guitar. I'm capable of teaching beginners or advanced students. I have experience teaching students of any age or background. I look forward to meeting you.
If there's anyone just starting to play guitar, I would be more than happy to teach them the best ways to begin playing. I am 19 years old, male, and I've been playing guitar for about 6 years. I play mostly rock guitar, so I wouldn't be very effective in teaching things like jazz or classical, but other than that, I can effectively show beginners the first and few steps to playing the guitar. I think this would be a great opportunity not just for you, but me as well. Playing a positive role in someone's learning experience of the guitar and the world of music is something I want to do for young beginners. I look forward to the experience. I charge $15 for 30 minutes or $20 for 45 minutes. The student would come to my place. Thank you!
I look forward to helping others learn to play guitar. From beginner to advanced students, I can guide you in your quest to making the music you want, whether that's learning songs that you enjoy or learning chords, scales, theory and licks to improve your own musical creation. I have also studied the metaphysical aspects of music and can show you how to find your song inside and express your message musically. From basic technique to composition, I can guide you on your musical journey.
10 years of experience, self taught everything I know cause I'm very passion about music
Hello, I wanted to teach you all what I learned about music because music is life and my life is music. Also, I teach drums (percussion), guitar (acoustic or electric guitar), bass, and piano lessons.
I have 12 years of experience playing the bass guitar, as well as 5 years of teaching experience at the School of Rock in Sandy, Utah. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Music degree. Though I have experience teaching all age groups, I specialize in teaching children and teenagers. I prefer to guide the students in the teaching process and let them adapt to the lesson material of their interest.
Lessons are tailored to the student's goals, including custom proportions of technique, song learning, and music theory. I can show you the way toward being an accomplished musician - whether you want to be in a band or just play for fun. I believe playing music is one of the most rewarding things a person can do. I am just recently getting my Thumbtack profile together, so more is to come. I have many years of experience playing and teaching. I have a great deal of success in getting students "unstuck" from their current level where they plateaued for a long time. For beginners, I can help you avoid long periods of being stuck from the git-go. I am a very patient teacher. I strive to find the balance between keeping it fun and doable, and at the same time providing encouragement for the challenge, at whatever rate each individual student can handle and likes. If you have goals for the guitar, I bet we can get there!
