I become a resource to the new employee as needed. Round Two For months one to six, repeat the above with two new departments. During month seven, by this time the worker that was hired in the first round will have progressed along the learning curve of his or her existing responsibilities. Depending on the workload of that employee now take on, I can train that employee to take on these departments as well. Now that these departments are running efficiently and accurately with very minimal supervision, I can create a schedule and manual for the supervisor to follow up with the expectations in place.
