I would highly recommend David for drum lessons. He is very good at what he does. He is very patient, postive and really enjoys teaching his students.
I have hired Stephen Hughes in three different capacities. I hired him to teach my drum line for marching band season, and then hired him to teach private lessons to a group of students. I have also hired to him to perform with a professional wind orchestra as a percussionist. He is an outstanding educator with a very thorough understanding of how to communicate with students, how to work with colleagues, and how to develop and implement a plan. His pedagogy is sound, and his results are thorough. As a performer, he is very trustworthy on all different elements of the percussion section. His rehearsal demeanor is impeccable, and his preparation skills are thorough. He can be trusted implicitly as a performer and educator.
I've been a student of Heath's for three years, and I could not ask for a better teacher. Whatever you want to learn, whether it be jazz, rock, or latin, Heath is very knowledgeable in all forms of drumming. Lesson times are very flexible, and can change to fit into your schedule, not the other way around. Overall, Heath provides excellent, specific instruction catered to what you as an individual want to learn.
Richard was an incredible teacher. His facilities are great and he does a really good job of catering to the students needs and ideas on the drums. I just wish I could have taken lessons longer with him.
I had the greatest learning experience of my entire life with Zac Bryant and would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to play drum set and become a well rounded professional player.
The most valuable thing I learned during our lessons was how to learn music. How to take a piece, divide it into sections and set attainable goals to learn that piece on my timeline. These lessons also greatly prepared me for college auditions and most often the conversations we had were more valuable than the playing we did. Just having someone who could answer any questions I had about percussion technique or which piece I should be playing or what I should expect in college was very meaningful and helpful to me.
You mean Lord of Drums? My girlfriend and I take group lessons with Brad. He's fantastic. Very knowledgable and adaptable to various skill levels. He pushes you just enough to see noticeable improvements every week, while making sure it stays fun at the same time. ~ happy adult student
Noah is an amazing, super talented drummer and professional percussionist, a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He can play every style of music (jazz, funk, rock, R&B, every style of latin) and I met him watching him play with numerous, different kinds of bands in San Francisco. He translates that to his students and as a drum and percussion teacher meets you at your level, gives great practice regimens that fit your ability and schedule. He stretches you and will make you a better drummer. If you listen, practice and put the work in, he will maximize your talent. On top of that, he is just a great person and one of the best drum teachers I've ever had - and he is fantastic with all ages: kids, teens, college, adults etc. Highly recommend Noah!
Amazing drummer and teacher. He is great with kids and very patient. Wonderful attitude with students . I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone who cares about his students and love what he does.
Great experience! Would recommend to anyone!
Tyler is an amazing teacher. He teaches drums and piano to my seven-year-old son who looks forward to going to lessons every week. I highly recommend Tyler.
Tanner is a super instructor! My son had lessons with him over the summer and he was very patient, knowledgeable and fun. He is very passionate about what he does and is extremely talented. If you are looking for an amazing drum teacher - look no further!
Hello, I wanted to teach you all what I learned about music because music is life and my life is music. Also, I teach drums (percussion), guitar (acoustic or electric guitar), bass, and piano lessons.
I will show them how to play drums and do hip-hop dancing. I will show them how to do the dance, how to play the drums and be good at it. It will be fun.
Since our teachers are very talented and diverse in their abilities, we are able to tailor your learning experience to what interests you most. Our teachers are unique in that they are just as comfortable behind a drumset as they are behind the timpani playing in an orchestra. With private lessons and ensembles available, we know how to make the learning experience fun!
Please see Ken Culmone's online YouTube video series entitled "A PARENT'S GUIDE 20 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT DRUM LESSONS" where he answers this question in his Saratoga Springs, Utah drum studio.
Are your hands cramping up? Do you find it hard to play with a metronome? Wanna learn odd meter? Hand Technique. If you feel like you really want to change your drumming forever, I promise to give you productive goals specifically for you to accomplish each week. I work with students individually, not through a routine. Skill levels from beginner to expert. If you bring me something I can't play within your skill level, your lesson is free!
I give drum lessons to interested students. I have years of experience and can teach rock, jazz, country or many other types of music.
