Introduction: I have always been interested in how other people live their lives. Every person is so different and has experiences that make them who they are. Photography has given me a way to learn about you and to become a part of your story. I tend to enjoy photographing what you would do naturally. I won't do too much posing, but of course I will do some when necessary. I want to capture you and show others who you are through my photographs.

She made time to meet my family, few days before the photo shoot to get acquainted with my children. She was very friendly and was willing to work with our suggestions. Great job and great price for family shots.

Shy at first but when it comes to meeting a family like mine I can totally understand!! She drove out to Gardner Village to take are photos and gave great suggestions since this was a surprise for our mother for mothers day!! I can't tell you how excited we are to give them to her and how AMAZING these photos turned out, I would definitely recommend her!!

Jocelyn took our engagement pictures a week ago yesterday, today she sent us the pictures. We were thrilled with the results, both of us are more comfortable taking the pictures then having the pictures taken of us and she had us laughing in no time and helped us to be very comfortable. Some of our favorite pictures are the ones that are in black and white because we really like the look of the vintage photos. We never felt rushed and she worked with us at our pace. We can't wait to see what she does with the Bridal session and the Wedding pictures. Thanks so much Jocelyn, You are AMAZING!!!!!

Jocelyn was great! She was quite the involved photographer. She came around 4PM to our ceremony and went around taking photos of everything. The inside setting, the outside of the building, the snow, the whole venue. I am not sure where she was during the ceremony because I wasn't focused on her, but after she was all about taking A TON of photos. Combination of families, friends, the food on display, anything and everything. She would go out of her way to walk in 12+ inches of snow just to get a good photo. She is awesomely priced. We haven't received our finished photos yet but we know they will turn out great (it's only been 30 days).

We were thrilled with Jocelyn :) Neither my husband nor I are comfortable with being the center of attention or being cheesy and affectionate in front of people, but she made it as comfortable as it possibly could be. She does an excellent job of capturing moments and documenting the feelings of the day. She got back to us quickly and scheduled us quickly. The weather ended up being crazy that day (unexpected rain, wind, hail, snow) and she made it awesome anyway! She knew of good indoor places for pictures and the dreary weather actually made for really good lighting. We had several people tell us they were the best engagement photos they'd ever seen. Jocelyn is great at getting lots of different kinds of shots--posed and candid, artistic and traditional, fun and serious... She's great at getting natural and genuine smiles. The colors of her photos were fantastic as well. Besides all that, she was there for all the big stuff on the wedding day and was so fun to work with. Jocelyn is kind and fun and we enjoyed her a lot. :)

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If possible it is nice to meet you before the wedding day. Often this is through an engagement session. This provides the best outcome for the wedding day, so you know how I work and you can get used to being in front of the camera. Saves time and makes the wedding day much more enjoyable for both of us :) Then if we seem like a good fit I'll have you send me a deposit and signed contract within a few weeks to reserve me for the wedding day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my BFA in Photography August of 2015. I've also photographed 60+ weddings since 2014.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got married nearly 4 years ago and realized that I loved shooting weddings after planning my own and finding my person.
