I was very hesitant about hiring a DJ but wedding bands were just SO expensive so I decided to go for it. At our initial meeting at my venue it went well and I felt like he understood what I wanted. I was very clear about what I wanted and especially what I did not want. My wedding day was a very different story. He played the type of music I specifically asked him not to and Played almost none of the songs I requested for him to play. (Which he asked me for.) I had to ask him multiple times to announce things but he did it on his own time. I had to ask three times for him to announce the bouquet toss. Finally I specifically told him under no circumstances did I want colored lights. He did it anyway!! I was so mad and now they are in my wedding video for me to always remember. This is my first time ever reviewing any service I have received but I felt like other brides needed to know!

Our wedding for the most part amazing. Our dj however was the one detail I would change for sure. Our ceremony was delayed about 25 minutes because the dj did not have the music my wife and I sent him a month prior so he had to download it. The entire time this was happening I was just standing and waiting with 150 guests ready to go. The speakers and mic at the ceremony cut in and out frequently. As far as the music and dancing went afterwards I wouldn't say I was disappointed. There were a lot of older songs we put on our playlist that were for my parents and friends to dance to but most weren't played. We also had some issues with the dj not playing songs requested by the wedding party. On the other hand the equipment sounded great and we had a pretty raging dance party.

These could have been avoided if a representative of your party was available during setup when we were testing. We strongly recommend a coordimator or authorized party to handle questions and testing during setup and preparation to help reduce challenges and concerns that may arise. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a mid-tier priced DJ / Entertainment and sound service. Our price structure is based on in-season and high demand dates. Premium dates are most Saturday afternoon / evenings from May to September. All other days have variable pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Call to discuss needs, venue and features. 2. Send out bid and booking information. 3. Have follow on call and potential walk through meeting once agenda and plans are finalized
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
35 years DJing, 28 years managing professional services businesses. Certified PMP, CCNP, ITIL Foundations and COMP-TIA+ in my profession and vendor trained on EV, Shure, Sennhieser, JBL and Pioneer Adudio equipment along with various professional development trainings for public speaking, music and sound engineering.
