FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing largely depends on the type of case and the time commitment needed to put together an excellent defense. I do offer flexible payment plans and I purposely operate with as little overhead as possible so I can keep my rates as reasonable as possible. If payment is a concern, give me a call. I've worked with dozens of clients to find a payment plan that works for them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At a consultation we'll discuss your charges, the range of penalties, possible defenses, possible outcomes, and I'll answer any and all questions you may have. I want to put you at ease through this stressful time in your life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated law school cum laude, near the top of my class. I've handled thousands of criminal cases in my time as a prosecutor for Salt Lake City and Davis County, and now as a defense attorney. I likely have handled your criminal charges dozens of times. I've tried over 30 cases to juries and hundreds of bench trials. I was an adjunct criminal justice professor. I taught bachelor level classes to students seeking criminal justice degrees. I also taught and consulted with police on several constitutional issues and issues related to DUIs.
