Luminous: Aria & WildFire

Introduction: We, AriA & WildFire, together we are known as the performing duo LUMINOUS. We are licensed and insured fire-spinning professionals who have been performing for a variety of audiences, ranging from private parties, dance clubs and corporate events with a combined experience for over 2 years now. We also do LED light spinning if preferred. We create memorable events through a unique performance medium. This type of experience is something people talk about for years. We will work closely with you on matching music and costumes to fit your vision and event theme. Our pricing is extremely reasonable, and we can create performances to fit within your budget. It can include single- or multiple-medium/partner performances. Past clients have included The Complex, Roots of the Rock Music Festival, Grannary Row, The Salt Palace, Burning Man Festival and many private clients, including several wedding receptions, Utah Pride Opening Ceremonies and Sun Valley City. We primarily spin partner poi (spinning interactively with another performer) and each of us can do solo poi routines. (Poi is a ball on the end of a chain that is lit on fire and various patterns and weaves are then spun with it.) WildFire also spins the long staff (5 1/2' long lit at either end), and AriA uses triple poi (3 poi balls at the end of each chain) and double staffs. Plus, We also do stilt walking and can spin poi or the staff while on them. In lieu of fire, we also have LED light toys that can be used: poi, long staff, and double staffs. We also do acrobatic yoga. (A performance style where partner work is used to engage the other person, using their weight to get into counterbalanced maneuvers and poses.) WildFire also does solo static trapeze acts. (Must have a solid hanging point that can bear 1500-2000 1bs.) We can also arrange to have other performers participating if you're wanting to create a larger themed show. All pricing includes rehearsal time, meeting times between performers and client, fuel costs, full costuming & make-up, and music.
