Introduction: I believe my work stands out because I like to use eye catching elements from color to typography. My work has generated interest because it is said to "pop"! I get to be creative everyday! Every job is different and presents different challenges. My band has used Buddy twice for the design work on two of our CD's. We have also used his services to design digital concert flyers for use on Facebook and other sites. Buddy was great. We pretty much knew what we wanted on the first CD design but wanted him to contribute his own creativity heavily into the second album. It turned out wonderful! We were so happy with the final results. We have received so many great comments on the work that he did. There ended up being a problem with the CD duplicator. They needed things to fit into different templates than we had given him to work with and we had very little time to get it fixed before they were supposed to run the project. Buddy took time out of his day right in the middle of his other job to not only speak to the duplicator but to make the adjustments they needed in plenty of time to save the day. He knew just what to fix and easily gave them what they needed. He was both knowledgeable and flexible in this situation and we were grateful. Buddy has created five book covers for me in the past four years. He's helped me with posters and other media and is still actively working with me. The best part is he's very reasonable, friendly, and quickly accessible. I've had no problems passing his name to other authors and even the Magna Arts Festival, for which he created a recognizable and memorable logo. His spectrum of skills from musician to graphic artist has been more than beneficial to our continuing business relationship. I recommend him to anyone needing graphic arts work!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In working with a new customer I like to meet with them, find out the scope of their project be it a logo or various marketing materials. I then ask them for any inspiration they have for their project IE: examples of what they are looking for. After I receive all of their ideas and examples I begin work and send examples and comps as I go through the design process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates degree in Graphic Design. I earned this back in 2004 and have been working as a design artist ever since.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into my line of work because of a traumatic car accident in which i broke my neck. I had to find a new way to make a living so I went to school and earned my Associates Degree in Graphic Design, It was the best thing I could have ever done and I absolutely love my job and wouldn't trade it. Hadn't I had my accident I don't think I would have discovered my inner designer. So in one aspect Im glad it happened
