Private Self Defense Lessons
Scott is so fun to work out with!!! I was surprised by how comfortable I was in the workout from the first lesson. He explains things really well and is always boosting your confidence throughout the workout. I would highly reccomend him to any women looking for boxing lessons.

Scott is a great instructor. He takes the time to teach you step by step the techniques necessary for using your whole body to create the most powerful punch. He stops and makes corrections throughout the session so you’re continually improving. I’d never tried boxing before so I was a little intimidated going into the lesson, but Scott quickly put me at ease with his friendly personality and simple instruction. Overall the experience was very educational and fun! I’ve been going through some difficult things this past year and the boxing lesson with Scott was a great physical and emotional release. I highly recommend it!!

Scott is a rare type of individual that has become a master of three trades: music, metal fabrication, and MMA. He's worked and coached me through all three, and I've found his involvement helpful to my development as an artist, as a fabricator, and as a fighter. He has a meticulous nature, and he pays attention to the details-- which can cut years from the learning curve. He can help with upper level pedal work on the guitar, sound quality, all sorts of show-related information that is vital to a performing artist. And he's a cool dude.

Scott has a lot of experience and is great at creating a safe learning environment (especially important as a female learning to punch for the first time!). He is a patient teacher and adjusts his instruction to fit each individual’s needs and capabilities. I come away from each lesson feeling powerful and confident in my ability to learn to defend myself.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? If you’re looking to pick up the guitar for the first time, you may find my pricing a bit steep. I’m happy to teach new beginners, but my pricing is catered toward those who have a stable foundation and want to take their music chops (guitar and vocal) to a whole new level of professional showmanship
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I suggest trying a lesson or two before committing to a teacher. Verify your learning styles and personality types mesh well. I also find it valuable to find a teacher who enjoys the same music as you and who can help you learn to play the type of music that YOU ENJOY listening to.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was first approached by a music shop back in my college days. Before long I had a nearly full schedule of students. Currently my specialty is coaching amateur musicians into becoming proficient at delivering public performances.
