Brian knows what he is doing! He is very professional, is amazing to work with and I look forward to continuing my lessons with him and learning more and getting my voice back in shape. I studied Choir and Opera through high school and college and can tell you his method of teaching is the only way to go if you want a strong voice with no damage. I highly recommend him as a coach if you singing is your passion!

Jose is very talented, and very well versed as a musician. He's a very patient and flexible instructor, and tailored my lessons to my specific needs. He has an extensive musical knowledge and varied repertoire. My singing ability made a definite and noticeable improvement from taking lessons from him. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to improve their vocal skills.

We haven't started lessons, so I can't say anything about that. But, April is professional, accomodating, and has good communication.

Laid back but clearly very knowledgeable. Came in with no expectations to be able to help my horrendous voice, and after two lessons am hearing sounds i never thought i'd be able to make. still a long way from controlling them, but i look forward to getting there.

As a beginner singer I was a little nervous but Diana made me feel extremely comfortable. She was very knowledgable and has an excellent teaching method that will help anyone feel comfortable discovering their natural voice. I love how she has you record the lessons so you can practice at home.

Diana has helped me to refine my vocal technique at a professional level. After working with her for about a year, I can confidently say that "Freeing the Natural Singing Voice" is certainly what she does. The last remnants of old, bad habits are steadily melting away, and my voice is louder, clearer and has a more even tone quality throughout my entire range; all with less effort and a feeling of comfort and ease. As a professional voice teacher and opera singer, I find her lessons to be most helpful in refining my pieces for a performance, or for getting rid of any lingering tension.

Kristin has been great at identifying my own personal learning style. She presents things in a very understandable and approachable way. Her lessons are a lot of fun, and she is very supportive. I would definitely recommend her to people of any skill level, including to people who have never taken voice lessons before, like me!

Bennie is great! Super fun to be around! Going into singing lessons I was worried, didn't want to feel like I was being judged even though that's the reason I'm there. But he didn't make me feel that way at all! It was easy going and has been a blast!

She was the best piano teacher ever. Three grandchildren took lessons. One had very good potential and loved to play. One would rather be outside playing basketball , and the last one just wanted to play not learn. She handled each one differently and was able to encourage and enrich their individual approach to the piano. Each child enjoyed her lessons. I can’t say enough wonderful comments about Libby.

Brian is a wonderful teacher. I have never been one to sing in front of people, but in the handful of lessons I have already attended, I can hear a huge difference in my voice and notice my confidence is getting stronger. You can't go wrong with Unfurled Music!

My 10 yr old daughter is taking voice lessons from Kimberly. I've seen her confidence grow, her love of music explode and her singing voice improve tremendously in the few months they've worked together. Kimberly is truly gifted, not just as a teacher but as a musician. She's an amazing role model for my daughter who proudly proclaimed to me, she wants to be just like Kimberly when she grows up! We are so happy we found her!!

Vocal lessons with Belle have been a fruitful and edifying process. She is a seasoned singer who is adept at pinpointing exact problem areas and developing a plan of attack to address them. She noticed immediately into our lessons that I tend to exhale before I sing, essentially cutting my breath in half and leading to breathy vocal delivery. In a short period of vocal exercises, strange-but-effective analogies, and genuine care for helping her students succeed, she managed to help me achieve my goal of feeling consistent and well-rounded as a singer. Outside of her fifteen minutes on national television, she has a solid grasp of who she is as an artist, which helps her instill confidence in her students. She’s also quite accommodating with scheduling, and understands that life gets in the way sometimes. Whether you’re a complete novice or self-proclaimed virtuoso, everyone can benefit from taking vocal lessons, and I can think of no better instructor than Belle.

Janae is an incredible teacher, I was in the musical Footloose as Ren McCormack who is an insane high tenor... Which I was not. I had 3 lessons with Janae and could cleanly and powerfully sing every high note I needed to hit. She also helped me sing the style way better so it wasn't as much work on my voice!

About

My name is Amber Stachitus. I am a lyric soprano. I hold a Master's Degree from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, both with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. My education focused on Vocal Pedagogy; Music Theory; Italian, French, German, English and Czech Diction, as well as training in Vocal Technique and Performance. I have studied voice with Julie Simson, Ariel Bybee and Dr. Robert Breault. I am fluent in Italian and have a grounding in German and French IPA and grammar as it applies to translations. My teaching focuses on classical technique and vocal exercises that provide the foundation for a successful performance. I assign art songs, arias and musical theater pieces according to the singer's individual abilities, in line with the goals they have for their practice. I provide a customized lesson: 30 mins, 45 mins, or 60 mins (for advanced students), consisting of warm-ups, vocalization and repertoire work. We will also focus on diction and vocal health. We will set and work towards your goals as a performer, whether they be personal or professional, family events or competitions. Classical technique will enhance your singing, whatever the genre.
