We had J&K replace the step to our front porch. The wrought iron railing had rusted, leaving the concrete open to freeze/thaw erosion. The step was missing a large corner chunk. The porch itself was also cracked where the railing was attached. J&K tore out the railing and step. They replaced the step with a longer, more appealing one and resurfaced the porch.
We, also, had a small patch put in between two existing driveways. Our third project for them was an even smaller patch. The utility company came earlier in the year to make a change in their equipment. It required them to make a small (1'x1') hole in our side driveway. They patched it, but didn't replace our downspout properly. It rained that night and the water running out of the downspout made a hole in their patch.
J&K did all this work for us. We are very pleased with the work. They dug up the ground cover and capped a sprinkler head for the in-between patch, stabilizing it with rebar. They patched the utility hole with the same stuff they used to resurface the porch.
The crew was professional and friendly. Jay came by several times to see how things were progressing and chat with us about the job. I appreciated that.
The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they power washed parts of my existing driveway leaving it looking unevenly clean.
