Violin Lessons

Sariah is an incredible violinist and an AMAZING teacher. My daughter adores her and loves going to weekly lessons. She balances fun and more difficult pieces, along with technical exercises and theory, in such a way that my daughter can’t even tell how far she’s being stretched. It just feels fun! Sariah is incredibly positive and uplifting, and very hands-on. I’ve been playing violin for 30+ years, and we looked far and wide for a teacher that met all of my criteria. And yet, Sariah instantly finds (and fixes!) issues that I never would have even noticed. She’s extremely professional and unbelievably devoted. Sometimes she even sends mid-week YouTube videos of herself reiterating something she worked on at the last lesson. She honestly makes it feel like teaching my daughter is her greatest priority. I hope she never moves, because we plan on staying with her until my daughter leaves for college, where I won’t be surprised if she studies violin on scholarship, thanks to Sariah.

Sariah is an amazing teacher! She is kind and positive but expects excellence. It is obvious the thought that Sariah puts into my daughter's learning ability and her technical skills for each lesson. She manages to find a way to connect and help my daughter improve her skills, even when my daughter does not believe she can. My daughter simply adores Sariah and wants to be a better musician because of the faith Sariah places in her. My daughter had to relearn much of her technique when she first started with Sariah, but with Sariah's patience and my daughter's efforts she has blossomed into a confident and skillful player.

Sariah is amazing! Sariah inspires my student! She inspires through her vast technical knowledge, attention to detail, passion, and her own beautiful ability to play the violin. My student wants to work hard to improve his ability to play the violin because he has such an incredible role model and teacher.

Sariah has been the best violin teacher for my teenage daughter. I never imagined someone as young as she was at the time could be so professional and have the skills, technique, and ability to motivate that Sariah has. She is positive, enthusiastic, technique oriented and one of the most amazing violinists I've heard.

Sariah is an amazingly talented and patient instructor. My son expressed interest in learning to play violin. Normally not a huge issue, but he's on the spectrum for autism. Patience and focus aren't his strongest suits. Sariah was so patient, supportive and kind. She took him from never having touched a violin, to playing the theme song from star wars in roughly 3 months. She took the Suzuki method and uniquely adapted it to his interests, while maintaining a strong focus on technique and setting him up for long term success. I would strongly recommend her as an instructor.
