FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a tiered package rate system, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Titanium and Platinum. Very specific guidelines apply to Bronze package (see below for details). Silver is generally my base package rate and is $300.00. Gold package includes a one hour comprehensive rehearsal and is $450.00. Titanium is for any State or National Park weddings and is $550.00 which includes travel, hotel and park entry fees. Platinum package is $750.00 and is primarily for out of state (more than four hour drive outside of Utah) or out of the United States. I do travel wherever I am called to serve, including out of state or even out of country for destination weddings. Silver, Gold, Titanium and Platinum packages provide a completely custom written, personalized to the two of you ceremony that reflects your thoughts, ideas and beliefs. You are welcome to write your own vows, utilize my vow templates or I am happy to assist you with creating your own vows. You are welcome to incorporate any ceremony addition you wish (ie; sand ceremony, unity candles, river rocks, hand fasting, 13 coins, Lazo, etc.) at no additional charge. The ceremony timing can be however short or long you desire. It can be formal/traditional, more modern/contemporary or a combination of those elements. It can lighthearted, fun and whimsical. It can be religious, completely non-religious or just lightly spiritual. In short, I custom craft specific to your wishes for a genuinely unique, heartfelt and truly memorable ceremony. If airfare, hotel accommodations and/or rental car fees are involved, whatever those amounts are (at time of securing them) would be added to the base rate fee for the Minister's creation and performance of the wedding ceremony. A deposit of $150.000 (applied toward the overall fee, not in addition to it) is required to secure my services for your date and time. The remaining balance would then be due on/by one month prior to the wedding ceremony date. If your date is one month or less from the date you contact me to secure my services, the full amount will be due upfront. Bronze package is my "Kiss & Go" elopement/short notice special for $100.00. To qualify for the Kiss & Go rate the ceremony date MUST be within one month or less, you MUST have not more than twenty attendees, there are no ceremony additions, a set of vows are already included (you may not write your own for this service) and the ceremony can not be held at a venue (it can be held at your home or a park). This is a scripted template 8 minute ceremony that can be religious with prayer or completely non-religious. The fee is due upfront. If you do not meet this criteria then it is the standard package rate of Silver, Gold or Platinum for my custom services, as listed at the top. Bronze package (discounted to $75.00 for the following circumstances ONLY): at a hospital if in the care of the facility, immediate military deployment, or, if incarcerated, at the jail in Salt Lake, Weber or Davis counties or the Utah State Prison.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct initial interviews via phone call, Skype or in person for you to ask questions about me and the services I provide, to help us each get a good sense of each other and to see if it will be a good fit. Once you decide to hire me you will be asked to sign the contract for my services and place at least the required deposit of $150.00 (applied toward the overall fee, not in addition to it) which automatically secures my services for your date and time. We would then proceed with the discussion into the details of your ceremony so that I know what to craft for you and be better able to assist you in determining the key pieces for your ceremony if you are uncertain of what to do. From that point all the way up to your big day, I am available by phone, text or email as much as needed.
