Curtis did an amazing job on my home inspection. I liked how he went through every detail with me. He pointed out things that I would have never noticed and also made good suggestions. I would definitely recommend him for homes inspections plus had report and pictures within hours. Thanks so much Curtis!Dec 15, 2016Verified
Arrived later than he said would, under-estimated time of the project, left project debris, damaged a wall and was expensive. He also framed a door wrong with out discussing with me. He damaged our HVAC duct work so it squeaks when we walk of the floor above it. He said he would come back in ten days later to repair the damaged wall and clean up the debris, but I can't wait that long. I've had contractors do better work while being faster and less expensive.Oct 14, 2016VerifiedCurtis R.'s reply
I showed up and bid the project on a sunday which was by the hour, Eric agreed to the terms. I started the next day on sunday as we discussed (not late) i worked a part day as pre discussed. Monday i showed up when i said and did what was discussed. After finishing the framing as per our dicussion i had to leave as he had no wiring done, or insulation. Or plumbing as he said he would.Tuesday again showed in the same time frame as before and could not work as he only moved the panel and still had demo work plumbing wiring and insulation to complet. Eric knew i had until thirsday to vomplete his project but after missing a full day and a half i told him therr wad no i could complyeye it in the time-frame we had. Wedseday again same time in morning and i had to change a doorway that he decided to change from previois discussion. He knrw i had a doctord appointment so i did the changes which there were 4 and then hung allbthe drywall that was supplied, not to metion i went and picked up 20 more studs to finish. No charge for my time or fuel. Thursday showed same time and hadbto finish the demo that Eric never completed in doing so i damaged a finished wall. I showed them the damage and said i will fix it. Then i had to pack the drywall around the house down a hill to even get started hanging on Thursday. I finished what i could as i ran out of materials again. I then swept and cleaned the bathroom and bedroom. Stacked big pieces of drywall scrap out back and threw all small pieces in trash can. I told him i will come back and fix the hole and haul away debri. He said cool thanks so muchbit looks great. Then leaves this completley false review. I was the 3rd person to work on this project. I did all this work for 600.00 that includes 65.00 in materials, i used 60 studs and 27-4x8x1/2 pieces of drywall. A extremely fair price.
I assumed it would take 1 1/2 weeks. It took 3 weeks to complete. I was surprised that there was little to no cleanup. My basement floor was covered in drywall dust and even large splatters of plaster. I guess I should take some responsibility for not specifying this need, but I didn't think I needed to.May 13, 2016VerifiedCurtis R.'s reply
This project took longer thsn expected as i was locked out 4 days and then power was out 1 day. He was going to sweep and do final clean up to save money.
Job went well with a custom-made drawing board. Curtis understood what I wanted and delivered an excellent product.Apr 22, 2016Verified
