FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give flat-rate quotes after we talk. I will never charge you more than the amount we agree on after I see your resume and get the full scope of what you need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically ask a client for the last version of their resume and a job description of the type of position they are pursuing, or I'll research a sample job description. Every resume needs a value proposition - the sizzle. I call it adding the hot sauce. I also can write resumes from scratch if you don't have anything available. We have an intake interview for about 20 minutes to review your background and accomplishments. I write a draft resume, have the client review and we have another call. Usually, we can complete a resume with 2-3 calls. For the final step, a Senior Recruiter proofreads your resume. If a client is interested in a cover letter and LinkedIn profile we go through the same process. Payments are accepted via Square for debit cards, Chase Quick Pay, and PayPal for credit cards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I just renewed my Professional in Human Resources Certificate (PHR) and was awarded a Best of 2015 and Best of 2016 for Resume Writing by Thumbtack. I am also consistently ranked on LinkedIn in the top 1% of most viewed profiles for Farmers Insurance. As a professional Recruiter, I am constantly scanning for seminars on what hiring managers are looking for in a candidate.
