- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with my clients and understand the full picture of what their goals are first. Then I will come up with a few different ideas to bounce off of them. The client can then tell me through the different concepts what their vision is. I'll asks questions and clarify what it is they want and I will create a proposal and creative concept deck for my client to agree to before we begin the planning and execution.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My skill set and experience has evolved over the years involving many creative industries. It started from yearbook in junior high and high school, working through school as a Florist. It then moved into Photography and Film Development. From there, I started Print Production and Graphic Design. And from there, I naturally moved into Marketing and Event Production! I can provide a great deal of knowledge in all of these areas, which makes me a valuable candidate as an Event Producer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who is passionate about getting it right and sharing their knowledge and experience. Solid communication is key! If they can't provide the answers, make sure they are willing to find solutions or others within the community that are willing to do there best to make it happen!
