We had such a great time with Chef Mike. He is very punctual, professional and interacts as much or as little as you prefer throughout the evening. He was funny, has great stories and the food was absolutely delicious. I booked him for two nights, cooking dinner for four while we traveled and stayed in an air B and B and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My Personal and Private Chef Services are based on a fee plus model. This means that there's a chef fee based on the level of service and then the food costs are additional based on the menus selected. My catering services are based on a cost per meal basis plus any rental items needed for the service. Some large events may also require additional staff in order to meet the client's needs. Rentals and Staff are always billed separately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have an initial phone conversation and if appropriate then schedule a face to face meeting. Since I customize my services to meet my clients needs it's important understand how I can provide exactly what they want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 40 years of cooking experience. The past few years I have worked to fine tune my skills with as much hands on training as possible. I am constantly consulting with other Chefs in my nationwide network to add new dishes and techniques to my set of culinary skills.
