Wedding and Event Catering
We has Chef Mike Roberts cater our office summer party this year. While he did show up later than scheduled, he was able to set up quickly and lunch was served on time. The food was wonderful!!!! We did a taco and nacho bar, with the addition of chicken kabobs and some side salads. The party was a few weeks ago and I still have people telling me how much they enjoyed the food!! Mike did a great job. Easy to talk to and communicated well. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I hired him for drop off catering for a small gathering and party that was to last all day. He provided breakfast lunch dinner and snacks and desserts all within my budget. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My Personal and Private Chef Services are based on a fee plus model. This means that there's a chef fee based on the level of service and then the food costs are additional based on the menus selected. My catering services are based on a cost per meal basis plus any rental items needed for the service. Some large events may also require additional staff in order to meet the client's needs. Rentals and Staff are always billed separately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have an initial phone conversation and if appropriate then schedule a face to face meeting. Since I customize my services to meet my clients needs it's important understand how I can provide exactly what they want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 40 years of cooking experience. The past few years I have worked to fine tune my skills with as much hands on training as possible. I am constantly consulting with other Chefs in my nationwide network to add new dishes and techniques to my set of culinary skills.
