FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally the cost for websites at $350 for 1-5 pages, $450 for 6-10 pages and $550 for 10+ pages and e-commerce websites. Pricing may be higher dependant on the difficulty of the project. The pricing includes full design, development and launching of the website. Besides building the site the price also includes training you or anyone on your team to do updates, setting up analytics so you can monitor the site performance and search optimized pages (SEO). We want you to save money in the long term, so make sure you are able to maintain it yourself (unless you'd like us to maintain it). It doesn't include buying the domain (about $7 or less a year) and hosting (about $50 a year), unless discussed. Discounts are available for non-profits and charities.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally, we discuss project specifications via email and phone with a prospective client and send a formal proposal. Once a project is accepted, we send an invoice from QuickBooks for a 50% deposit allowing payment by credit card. Once we receive the deposit we'll get to work and you should receive the first draft of your website with about a week. At that point, we'll edit it, update it and get you 100% happy with the site. Then we'll launch it online and request final payment. After it's launched we'll do a training for our clients to show them how to use the website.
