Excellent service from start to finish. Luis and Joe came out to do an estimate for insulation they were curtious and on time. After a day the team came to finish the work, there was only 4-6" of original insulation left in the attic. EBRR and team showed up on time and ready to work. Half a day later we had a fully insulated attic. The crew even removed the old house fan that was leaking air into the attic and put new drywall over it. I could have gotten the project done cheaper by a few hundred dollars but none of the contractors I had come out were nearly as professional, polite, and knowledgeable as the EBRR team. I highly recommend this team.
I would give Leo six stars if that were possible. I needed a significant amount of insulation repaired done at my business within 24 hours and he made it happen. He and his guys did a great job and we passed the inspection. I was lucky to find them.
My name is Cheri and I was in a desperate situation when I contacted Renaissance Restoration, Mr.Sanchez assured me he would come by first thing in the morning and fix my wiring problem, well he not only fixed the ceiling fan that was installed by an incompetent idiot from the previous day but he did a lot of extras too. He installed motion detectors, fixed the dangling "Cox" cable, straightened out my duct work and put insulation tape on the joints, made a trip to Home Depot and when my curious gray kitty climbed up his ladder and got stuck in the ceiling Mr.Sanchez even took the time to gently coax her out, this talented man goes the extra mile for his clients and I've already passed out his name and number to 3 of my clients. If you find yourself in trouble like I did please give him a call you'll be relieved and happy you did.
After meeting with four different general contractors, Mr. Marvin Guzman with Baiza Construction, Inc showed his best attitude to take part on a serious complete home improvement we had for our 1956 home. He didn't only provided a quick estimate, But time frame to complete and over all his price. My project was based on a full 2 bathrooms remodeling, plaster walls removal/replacement, insulation, plumbing, electrical, kitchen remodeling and about 2500 square foot of hardwood floor installation. My best recommendation to future hires and families of his great quality work. My contract worth 86k were put on the best hands.
Needed dry wall and insulation installed due to water damage. After they were done, it was like the damage was never there. They did exactly what I requested. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommend!
We were looking for new flooring to be installed in our entry and kitchen. Andre came out with an estimate and listened to our ideas about taking the kitchen reno just a little bit further. We wanted to get rid of the large Florescent light in the kitchen. Andre suggested he could install in-ceiling lights. We were on a tight schedule to get this done and Andre made sure he scheduled us for the week that we requested. He and his team did a great job getting our lights installed, our floors installed, and making sure that everything was back in place before they finished. Andre and Amilcarr are very personable and friendly, making sure we understood what they were doing on each step of the installation. They did a fabulous job and we're planning our next step in renovation to be suing Traylor Design & Construction as our go-to contractors.
Mike fixed a couple of exterior leaks in our sunroom for us. We were happy with his work so we asked him to install insulation in our attic. We are happy with that installation, too. Mike was responsive to e-mails and calls, arrived on time, and did a thorough job.
Carlos and his guys did a great job on our project (they installed two egress windows in our basement and then finished the basement insulation, new drywall, new closet and new tile floor) the work was hampered by two snow storms that came through this winter. But when I gave him a hard deadline for us to get back into our house his guys worked LATE into the night the night before to meet that deadline. I was very appreciative of their efforts. I would definitely hire his company again.
Affordable and amazing! Had a leaky pipe damage some drywall. Fixed right the first time! Great work!
I don't write many reviews, but I wanted to go out of my way to make sure to to write a detailed one for Yosif and Smart House Remodeling. I think I am uniquely qualified to give a very thorough review, as I hired Yosif and his team to do a basement renovation covering over 1,400 square feet. This was a big job, and below you can see some of the before and after photos from a few of the rooms. I'm a pretty particular client; I'm an engineer and pay attention to the details and quality of work that I get done and was very pleased with the outcome on this. I hired Yosif after getting approximately 8 (!) different bids for this job. So that shows you what he was up against. I think the typical experience with working with Yosif is likely as follows: you have him out for an estimate, he has some good ideas about the work that you may have not considered, he gives you a prompt estimate with very reasonable prices, and then you hire him to start the job. Once work is well underway, you realize you've got something really great going and then start creating new contracts to do all kinds of additional work with him--work that perhaps you've put off because you dreaded having to go through finding a quality contractor for each additional project. In my case, I started off with vinyl plank flooring over 1400 sq. feet (spot-leveling & demo needed), with some switch relocation and other electrical work (outlet additions, ceiling box), recessed lighting installation, and HVAC vent installations. By the end I had added significant drywall patching (including closing holes in attic), replacing a huge wood paneled room with all-new drywall, installed an attic ladder, replaced a rear door (including new framing & storm door install), repaired a front door, had a custom divider wall built to hide an HVAC unit, had soundproofing insulation put in, multiple in-wall access panels, minor plumbing, and I could honestly go on. I got an amazing amount done beyond what I originally though was possible for my budget. Yosif is careful to make sure that you are OK with the finished product on each phase of the work that is being done, and is willing to redo things that are not quite right. Each job is properly finished too, with the small things like priming on drywall (plenty skip this!), clean up, and material disposal. I found him very trustworthy as well and had no issue with him doing work at my home regardless of whether I was there or not, yet he was also respectful of my schedule. I would also consider him skilled at a very broad range of construction areas/topics, which if you've hired a number of contractors before you probably know that is not always the case. Although I do want to note that I found his drywall work especially good. I don't think many people would assume that he has 10+ years of experience, but it shows in what he is capable of an his approach to solving the problems that you encounter (and you will always find something interesting when you start opening up walls!). In short, I would gladly recommend him without any reservations.
Five stars is not enough to rate the MP Builders Group team - Maximo and Job are top notch and seasoned veterans in the insulation business and their work is exemplary. I am an architect and very committed to achieving a solid building envelope and the MP Builders Group team does not cut corners. I spent hours and hours bidding my project to numerous other closed cell insulators but the MP Builders price was the most competitive and their crew delivered everything as promised, on budget and on time. They are first class.
We recently had a mold issue at our residence, and being new home owners with a young child we were very concerned. We found Eugene through thumbtack and explained what our problem was. He was very professional and proposed what he thought would be a solution to the problem, not just a bandaid. On his advice we signed up for an energy audit. We went forward with Eugene from the information received on the energy audit and his initial thoughts. Not only did Eugene fix the problem but he also helped make our home much more energy efficient in the process. A few of the major things he facilitated was to fix insulation issues in our basement / attic, provide solutions and contractors to fix our HVAC system (Which had a 50% loss on the way upstairs), and to install an ERV system to provide fresh oxygen not only at the source, but through the entire house. Our HVAC is now running much better and our indoor air quality is superb. Eugene has helped provide a safe environment for my family to live and grow in. I would definitely recommend his expertise in building science to anyone. Eugene will help find the source of the issue and start there, rather than a quick patch job that will need to be redone in the future.
I can rely on Larry and the team at The Plumbery to show up on time, solve the problem, and clean up afterwards. When they remodeled my kitchen/dining area, they did it quickly and each night I returned home they had tidied and vacuumed the area. My kitchen went from blah to beautiful. Next up they will do the bathroom. Also, I had a sound problem from upstairs neightbors--they ripped out the ceilings in two rooms and put in insulation and soundproofing board. While they were at it they put in crown molding and painted. Last but not least I live on the bottom floor of a condo building and they have had to rescue me from floods large and small. They've been working here off and on for 12 years and have never let me down.
Randy and his assistant did an excellent job of adding 6-8 inches of blown in insulation to my attic. He was profession, timely, courteous, cleaned up after he was finished an charged a fair price. Actually I paid him more than what he originally quoted me, because he did a great job.
Sam Lockwood and the United Contractors of Maryland team went above and beyond our expectations . Due to the larger nature of our job we were worried that it would not be done on time . We were blown away that job was done on time! The quality and perfeasionalism done by them was absolutely above and beyond what I was expecting and was unmatched by years of working with numerous contractors . The team also left the job site extremely clean which most contractors I have worked with have rarely done . We will hands down be using them for any further contractural needs . I hold this company in high regards after the work they provided on our home .
cleaned out and restored crawl space, put down new vapor barrier and new insulation, had a crew of about 4 guys out and they completed the project in half a day, was very impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of their office staff and project managers in general.
I am happy to tell people what a great job Complete Home Solutions has done on my home, and what a professional crew you have. when I compare my energy bills from last year to this-its more than 50% less in costs! My home is warm and cozy, and we've barely used the heat at all this season. There are no howling winds, no drafty doors or windows! I don't even hear the traffic anymore! Your crew was prompt, polite, courteous and above all else professional. They were respectful of my home and yard, and cleaned up after their work. I think I even heard a vacuum cleaner! All we have to do is paint and we can move on to the next project in making our new house a home that we can be comfortable in and proud of! I researched and found that in my area PEPCO offers a site when doing an energy assessment for insulation and other efficiency home improvements. That's how I came across Complete Home Solutions, as a recommended and approved contractor. As a result of using CHS as an approved contractor, not only do I qualify for tax credits, but I also qualify for rebates through PEPCO. Thank you for a job well done. Yvonne W. Temple Hills, MD
My experience with Jose and AIR was very positive! Jose has done a good deal of work on my home. He has done everything from expanding a half bath to a full bath, relocating utilities, general drywall and insulation, upgrading a bathroom, and some electrical work. Additionally, he installed a sump pump, french drain, and extended and waterproofed my foundation when a city pipe was causing flooding issues in my basement. Jose and his workers are always polite, keep everything as clean as possible, and always keep me well informed. My basement issue was a bit of an emergency and Jose made himself available at all times of the day and night to help. The quotes have all been very reasonable compared to other contractors and there have not been any hidden nickel and dime costs. I am pleased with all the work he has done and continue to call him back for more projects!
David has done a number of projects for us over the years--from insulation to electrical to carpentry. He does wonderful work, delivers on his commitments diligently, is honest and trustworthy. I'd recommend him without reservation to anyone.
Our utility bill has never been so low in the winter! Dave did a free consult and told us the contractor who finished our basement didn't insulate the band board and this is the problem in many houses he checks out. Easy, cheap fix he said. His knowledge saved me a ton of money.
