We do silly songs and sing alongs, funny jokes for little folks, twisting balloons into cartoons, painting faces and potato sack races, bubble blowing and party throwing! Bianca Ambrosino is Rainbow Rose, the princess clown! She is a member of the local, Just Clowning Around Alley, of Northern Virginia, and COAI (Clowns of America International). Bianca offers fun and fanciful entertainment for parties and events including: * Face Painting * Balloon Twisting * Musical Entertainment (sing-alongs, guitar, banjo, ukulele, violin, mandolin, kazoo, piano, bass, etc.) * Bubble Parties (fun, games, and songs, featuring a magical phenomena that engages children and captures their interest in a gleaming orb of awe: bubbles!) * Games * Stories (including one-of-a-kind, original stories authored by the party guests and featured in a commemorative storyboard and/or illustrated book) * Crafts (including wands, tiaras, hair bows/ bow ties, paper dolls, books, balloon animals, pirate hats, treasure maps, t-shirts, jewelry, etc.), and * Many more fun and engaging activities that you hadn't even considered! We also offer caricatures, interactive storyboards and custom songs written by party guests and recorded for gifts/party favors, jumbo, personalized birthday cards adorned with stamps and personal well-wishes! We do magic shows, puppet shows, custom portraits including commissioned paintings and professional fairy tale impersonation posed photos. Bianca also has 10 years of experience working with children with special needs, and 5 years of experience as an activities coordinator for seniors. Rainbow Rose was a great asset to my daughters 5th birthday party. Her outfit was colorful and went well with our theme. She was awesome with the face painting and balloon hats. All the kids loved that and were still talking about what a great party as of yesterday. I'm happy that she took pictures with the party and still sung a song for the birthday girl as time had went by. What could have been better is songs for the environment. The song sung was a little different for the children I had there and something more common like hokie pokie with a more upbeat clap would have been more lively (SMILE) Overall I was very happy and would recommend! She was very professional and nice.

sorry the show portion of the party wasn't quite up to my standards of what I would usually do, with the banjo and more up beat songs and games. The line just kept coming for the face painting and I was already over the time by 40 minutes so i really couldn't do it properly, but I wanted to at least do a little something before I left. Again, thank you so much for the pictures and the review, I had a great time and I hope Fancy did too!

Our church thoroughly enjoyed Rainbow Rose The Princess Clown. This was the first time we had used her services. If there are any recommendations to be made, it probably would be to have her consider investing in an auto-air blower for inflating balloons faster. The hand-blowers did work, but when you have a whole lot of children this may not be ideal.

Thanks Tracey! I had a great time at your church event! Hand pumps are really only slower than ellectric pumps by fractions of a second, and help me offer my clients lower rates. Balloon sculpting is an art, and part of the magic comes with the time I get to spend with each child as I make a special creation, just for them. I'd say that creating custom balloon sculptures (for many children, more than 2 creations) for all of the children present at the event, and even some adults, in just under 90 minutes is a huge success! Especially since almost twice the expected audience showed up :) Again, I really enjoyed working with your church, and cherished the time I got to spend with each of your bright young congregation members.

Rainbow Rose did a very great job for my daughter's 1st Birthday. The Party was a great success because of her. She has engaged all age kids of abt 20-25 of them with all kind of games & face painting. Couple of games were for parents too.. In short, she is awesome.

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Before I started clowning, I was an activities director at a retirement home. When I had my son I decided to " quit my day job" and start being a clown because it involves all of the things I love most in life: singing, telling jokes and stories, art, making people smile and most of all getting to spend more time with my son and husband
What types of customers have you worked with?
Birthday parties and events, usually balloon twisting, face painting or both. For children's birthday parties a show including music and stories is also included as well as games and crafts
