I brought my computer to his shop expecting I needed a new board or a recovery from a failed hard drive. It turned out to be a virus and my computer is back working better then it has for a long time. Very happy with the results and the cost to have my system back home BillApr 26, 2017Verified

Let me keep this simple: based on my experience, Craig will 1) fix your computer, no matter what the problem is, 2) do a better job than Best Buy's "Geek Squad" for a fraction of the price, and 3) let you know ahead of time exactly how he will fix it and give you an estimate that will have you smiling. I have found the computer guy for all of my computers!Apr 24, 2017Verified

He transferred all data from a damaged computer to a new computer. He did it while I waited. I was thoroughly pleased with the results.Nov 17, 2016Verified

Truly excellent. It takes a lot for me to write a review. The Eldest Geek got my computer fixed in 24 hours, which was super important since it is my work computer and I have upcoming deadlines. The price was reasonable and I couldn't be happier. Well worth the drive to Alexandria.Oct 24, 2016Verified

Craig was able to fix my laptop in a day, no hourly charge though it was not an easy fix, I highly recommend The Eldest Geek. Price was very reasonable. They can fix any computer problem !May 19, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Hardly. $60 per hour shop rate. $120 for first hour onsite, $90 per hour after. ESTIMATES ALWAYS FREE And we have a discount for new customers - just ask!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We evaluate the problem - quickly and expertly - and estimates are ALWAYS FREE!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? There is very little training of value in this field - and I've been studying for over 45 years. LOL Actually, I've OWNED my computer store for that long! I do however have 2 masters degrees (Mathematics and Computer Science) and 2 bachelors degrees for what they are worth!
