Lisa did a fantastic job -from full service planning and through day of event services for my wedding on 5/18/19. Lisa's vast knowledge, experience and attention to detail really made me feel like my wedding was in great hands and that things ran smoothly with coordination with all of vendors before, and on day of wedding. I really appreciated all that Lisa did and how helpful she was in assisting me with finding and selecting the reception venue, photographer, DJ, hair & make-up stylists, cake artist, wedding dress, and decor and wedding favors. Just had a great event yesterday, planned by Lisa McGillin of ELG Event Productions - a Celebration of Life for my recently deceased husband could not have been more perfect from any perspective. Another planner had left me hanging with no arrangements, 2 weeks before the event date, but Lisa rode to the rescue. Good deals arranged for full service catering, equipment and furnishings, flower arrangements, momentoes for the guests, terrific bar service - and it was all put together like magic despite the short planing window during this already busy party season of graduations, weddings, etc. Lisa made it special in a hundred ways. I have made a new friend in Lisa at a time when friends mean so much. My husband would have loved every minute of this special celebration!

Lisa provided event planning services for our 15th anniversary fundraiser for the community in honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Her Pleasant demeanor, creative ideas for certain obstacles and helping us work with our existing supplies was greatly appreciated! Our team thoroughly enjoyed working with her. The event was a huge success The Catered meal was delicious the atmosphere was festive and attractive. Lisa kept us on track with our event timeline which was greatly appreciated to keep us on budget with the facility. Overall it was a great evening! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I like to have an initial telephone call to introduce myself and discuss their specific requirements in greater detail. After the initial telephone call, an in-person meeting is scheduled to review the requirements and finalize/execute the working relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over twenty years experience in the special events industry prior to starting my own small business.
