I chose Denean's Party by Design to help with "day of" coordination for my wedding in Baltimore. Hands down, best decision I have ever made in my life. Denean and Teresa were extremely professional and thorough to make sure every detail of my special day was absolutely the way I wanted it. Since it was "day of," I did a majority of the legwork with decor and planning, but the set-up and presentation was even better than I ever imagined. Having these ladies present at the wedding ensured that the timeline moved along smoothly, all of my concerns were addressed immediately, and just overall provided a phenomenal experience. My guests went out of their way to note how extremely well-run the event was, and how friendly and personable the team was. You can tell they really love what they do. One of the most memorable moments that stood out to me was when my (slightly clumsy) husband stepped on the back of my dress and ripped the bustle off. Within 5 minutes and without missing a beat, Denean had expertly secured my dress with a large safety pin (you couldn't tell!) and I was back out on the dance floor. Personal touches like that are why I would absolutely recommend this team and would use them without hesitation for any future party/event planning needs!

Mr. Montgomery is the epitome of a DJ whose sole purpose is to satisfy every aspect of a Client’s request. First of all expedience seems to be Mr. Montgomery and Thumbtack’s expertise. Secondly; follow-up emails, details and phone calls are appropriately provided to reassure all parties involved that the Special Event would encounter no surprises. We loved working with Mary! She knew our venue (Historic London Town) like the back of her end, so it made it so much easier to handle all of the ins and outs leading up to our wedding and on the day of. Mary was such a lifesaver for us, helping us think through the setup of the event, planning our rehearsal to make sure we knew what we were doing, and corralling our vendors in line with our planned schedule. Whatever we needed from Mary, she was willing to do, and always with a huge smile. This included taking care of the clean-up of the decor items we brought to the venue, and even meeting us a couple days later to pass off things that couldn't fit in our car. Would work with Mary again if given the chance!

We had Catering Reserved cater our company Holiday party and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this company is is. Dianna was so easy to work with. She took care of all my questions, concerns, and needs with phenomenal professionalism. Her patience with me while I was trying to organize a corporate event, waiting on final menu selections, head counts, and final approvals from the owners was unparalleled. Maritza was our event captain for the party and she and her staff were FANTASTIC! The servers and bartender were so sweet and friendly. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with last minute adjustments was such a blessing. The food was INCREDIBLE. Everything from the appetizers to the entrees and sides, right down to dessert, was SO DELICIOUS. I have never had so many employees come to me to express how great the good was. I am so grateful for Catering Reserved, not just for the amazing food, but for the truly fantastic staff, and for the tremendous and sincere effort in helping me put together a great 100+ person event. I cannot wait to have another reason to employ their services and I wholeheartedly recommend them for any event.

I wanted to do something cute for my son's birthday, but I had a pretty tight budget for decorations. Jan was very accommodating, she offered a very reasonable price for balloon backdrop that was just under my budget. On the day of event she also brought a complimentary helium balloons centerpiece! I had a really great experience working with Fashion Balloons, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Ari is absolutely amazing. I had three huge parties to throw within one month. I love to plan parties but I was feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work that needed to be done in order to pull off my vision for the parties. I called ARJ Productions to get a quote and before I even hired her, Ari started sending me ideas and researching vendors for my parties! I could tell she was a hard worker and was as excited about my events as I was! Anytime I had an idea I would send it to her and she would make it happen. I could actually enjoy being the hostess at the parties because I was not running around stressing out about details and making sure everything was going well. All three of my events went very smoothly. All of my guests were comfortable and highly impressed! Ari was very responsive and timely. Every single suggestion she made worked out perfectly. I love the vendors that she suggested and I would definitely recommend or use them again. On a personal note, I got to know Ari over the two months that we worked together. My husband and I are SUPER EXCITED with the outcome and very careful planning of our 10 year "Vow Renewal"!! Planned by Shauna Robinson of 'Brides-to- be Wedding's. Mrs. Robinson came to our home and explained 'exactly' what "Brides to-be'- does', she was also concerned with what our expectation's were for our wedding. We were so impressed with her kindness, her elegance, her organization skills and her ability to take the stress of planning off of my plate! She saved me so much stress!!! Our wedding was Simply Amazing thanks to Shauna! She stayed in contact with all of my vendors, the venue coordinator and anyone else involved in my wedding! I couldn't believe just how organized she was...she took my stress away and assured me that she was going to make sure my wedding was everything we thought it would be, and she delivered!!! I used this group for my sister's surprise (2nd time around) baby sprinkle (shower). The pair were prompt. The decorations and favors were so cute, and looked as if a lot of TLC was put into them. It was fun to learn about facials and to get some pampering. We got to select wine, and the company used local wineries, which I find really important as it shows me, they care about supporting small business, which I care about too. Overall, it was a fun event -- I like it for the convenience and all the little elements that made this party special. They also really catered to my sister, a.k.a the honoree. I would recommend the group.

I can not say enough about Arielle and the impact she made as my wedding coordinator! I thought I could handle everything on my own, but figured a wedding coordinator would just help the day of. Well, turns out I was very wrong. If it wasn't for Arielle I would have ended up canceling the whole thing and running to the court house. Arielle's organization and attention to detail was impeccable. She helped me plan everything down to the most minute details and it made the day so much less stressful on me as the bride and gave reassurance to all other members of the wedding. She handled all my vendors the day of the wedding. Apparently, there were some major issues that came up that I didn't even find out about until weeks after the wedding because she handled everything before it even got to me. Weddings can be so much more stressful and frustrating than you can even imagine. Having someone there to handle the crazy with your happiness as their main focus can make the most stressful busiest day of your life the fairy tail you have always dreamed of. Arielle has my highest recommendation and was worth every penny, plus her well earned tip ;) Thank you!!!!

Keya and her colleague were pleasant, flexible and willing to assist above and beyond their bartending duties when requested. The event they supported was not well-organized by the bride/groom, but they stepped in and did what was needed to make the event go as smoothly and effortlessly as possible, and all with smiles on their faces and a commitment to customer service. Jessica and her team are AMAZING! Jessica is responsive, goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect, and was extremely sensitive to our needs. Over a month later, we are still getting compliments on our wedding. I would recommend her to anyone planning an event- I am about to have her help with my husband's surprise birthday party.
