I had all the cabinets and hardware to begin my kitchen renovation when I discovered that IKEA were no longer doing installations. I found Carlos on Thumbtack and was not disappointed. He was familiar with product, knew how to install them and recommend items I needed to complete the job. Carlos and his Team completed a 25 cabinet, custom kitchen design where 20 cabinets were within the initial scope, but due to his fair pricing and his willingness to make suggestions, we added 5 more cabinets to the back wall in our kitchen. I will definitely hire Carlos again. For those that are interested in the numbers, he was 30% less than Traemand, IKEA’s 3rd party contractor. This 30% savings came with 1 catch; It took 4 days instead of 3 days and I was honestly to blame for at least half of that 4th day because I added 5 more cabinets to the original project scope. If you want an honest closing remark — If you have Ikea cabinets needing installation, you would be crazy not to hire Carlos and his crew. Thank you Carlos!

There are too many positive things to say about Carlos and the amazing work he did for us. I’m a design professional, so having the cabinets installed to the level of perfection that I required would be no easy task, but Carlos surpassed my expectations. He is professional and responsive, and the quality of work that he performs is outstanding. This is what he does for a living, and he came to our new house with years of experience and knowledge that helped us complete our kitchen remodel with amazing results. He’s not simply putting together your cabinets, he’s also making sure that your space will look incredible once he’s done. He scribed trim pieces to correct our dipping ceiling, and he made custom trim to infill the gap above the refrigerator. He follows best practices that he’s attained over the years, and it showed. He also went above and beyond his original scope and helped me resolve a plumbing issue, as well as install our microwave with trims. He truly knows his craft, and he made suggestions for properly installing and finishing the project when an issue arose, which there were a few. And his suggestions were spot on, and I’m grateful to him for making them and the corresponding work. Again, there are too many positive things to say about Carlos and the work he did for us. He knows all the Ikea parts and pieces better than they do. You’d be silly not to hire him if you’re planning on installing an Ikea kitchen.

Carlos and his team did a beautiful job remodeling our kitchen at an affordable price. This was my first time doing a major home project, and Carlos was excellent at helping guide me through the process and find other professionals to assist with electrical, countertops, etc. If you’re doing an IKEA kitchen, Carlos and team are the ones to work with!
