I like everything about working with Angela. She communicates well and is responsive, timely and respectful. She has great ideas and is willing to work with my schedule and timeline, which is very helpful to me.Jul 2, 2019Verified
Angela helped me select finishes for my new house and I'm so happy I had her with me to do so. With very little notice she was able to meet me at the builder's model. Envisioning all the different combinations of cabinets, floors, colors and which coordinated and looked best together was overwhelming for me, but she was able to do so on the spot. Her recommendations were great and at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to use her services again and would highly recommend her.Apr 5, 2019
I hired Angela to help redo our drab master bedroom. I have very traditional taste and wanted to look outside the box a little and get a more modern vibe. She did a great job mixing the old with the new and we love it! Angela has incredible vision and seems to just know what I need. She created mood boards, with different options and I could just pick and choose what I liked. If I was hesitant about something, she found the perfect “in-between” item. I’m very pleased with the colors she chose – from the paint to the lovely prints on the wall. I LOVE the area rug under the bed and would never have thought to look for that pattern. I’ll be using her skills in our kitchen next. I feel very confident (and comfortable) knowing that she will make it look up-to-date and fresh. Another plus is that she is highly dependable – returns my calls or replies to my emails promptly, and is always on time for appointments. This is very important to me, as I work full-time and I cherish my spare time!Nov 27, 2018
Angela helped me decorate a renovated open floor plan kitchen, living room and dining room. She also decorated a mantle in a second living room and renovated bathroom. She did everything from helping me shop for furniture to picking out prints and frames to incorporating my grandma’s antique china with other newer decor in a china cabinet. Angela is so talented, has excellent taste and is customer focused. She seeks to understand your style yet has new and creative ideas that were so much better than mine. Angela checks in after she gets a few things to make sure she’s on the right path so you aren’t surprised. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, you’ll love what she picks out and find yourself wanting to have new projects for her to work on!Nov 14, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge half of my hourly rate ($100) for travel to and from your home or office space.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1.) We'll start with a phone conversation to discuss the scope of the project. Sample questions include: "Is this an open floor plan?" "Are you buying all new furniture or using existing?" "Will you require new finishes, i.e. flooring, tile, hardware?" I will also ask if you have a Pinterest board dedicated to this project and if not, to create one. This will help me understand your style and what we're trying to achieve. 2.) The next step is to meet at your home/office space to fill out a Lifestyle Questionaire about the room(s). I will also measure the room(s) and take photos. 3.) Next, I will create a mood board and color palette for each room and send these to you via email to approve. Once you've approved this, we move onto ordering and installation. **If you do not need me for the entire design process, at this point, I would hand off the boards and along with a detailed shopping list and you finish the install independently. 4.) If you require my assistance through the end of the project, I will oversee the installation. If needed, I can be available to oversee furniture delivery and any necessary contractors on-site. 5.) Once the space is complete, I will take photographs and ask you to leave me a review :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Fashion Merchandising where I studied abroad in Italy to study textiles and international business. Most recently, I worked as a Space Planner at JoAnn Fabrics HQ in Ohio. I also hold a certificate of Interior Design by the New York Institute of Art and Design and a Project Management certificate from Kent State University.
