I'v been working with Paul for two years and it's made a huge difference in the quality of life. His approach concentrates on functional training ... what you need to get around day-to-day in life. And on balance ... moderation in everything, diet, exercise, etc. Nothing drastic, nothing that you can't do, nothing that you can't live with and be successful with. He always said there'd be a day when I'd know it was paying off. That day came when I was at a conference that I attend every year. I'm taking the metro in and out, on my feet a lot, and sitting a lot. The last few years at this I have come home exhausted and in pain and dreaded going back the next day. Not that day, after only 6 months with Paul. I came home tired, but not in pain. The next day I woke up ready to go. He works effectively to prepare me for various events and activities coming up on my schedule. He's been a great help!!

I've had one hour sessions with Paul every week for the past year. None of our sessions are the same. He is never redundant and always challenging. He's so laid back, approachable, and light-hearted. I arrive at our sessions feeling excited and terrified. Paul is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I've encountered. I work with the human body in my own personal career; he and I often discuss different anatomical and physiological perspectives. I came into personal training as a female yoga practitioner and a runner. I did not know how to lift weight safely and confidently. He continues to show me how to make my body strong, not just cardio and flexibility driven. Because of Paul, I can lift heavy things! This is empowering. I often tell him, "Paul, I love you and I hate you".

The fitness industry is plagued with "wannabe" professionals that know very little about exercise physiology and program design, and believe that a good workout is one that leaves you sore for days. Paul is far from that. He is very knowledgeable, and creates sound programs for his clients. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, and would recommend him to anyone. He believes in training the body in a way that promotes quality movement, thus a quality life. I walked away from each workout feeling great and as though I challenged my body without being "broken" to the point of not being able to move the next few days. Seriously, if you want a great trainer, this is your guy.

Working with Paul has been amazing! Paul is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and our workouts are always different. I have learned a huge variety of ways to do cardio, strength training and muscle building. Paul really keeps me motivated, and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a fun but intense workout!
