- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've always been a handy guy. Growing up I was always working on old cars, building skateboard ramps, and using my dad's tools. After college I worked in the IT field doing web development and programming. I got laid off from my IT job and decided it was time to work with my hands. I've been a full time handyman for the past 3 years and I love it.
