We enjoy working with Chef Sue at Breezy Oaks Farmhouse B&B for brunches, baby showers, bridal luncheons, funeral buffets for immediate family and close friends, ladies' club luncheons and teas. We hired Sue Graves to be our personal chef and cook one meal a week during August, 2016. It has been a wonderful experience. At that point our daughter was planning on spending the month with us with her newborn and 20 month old. We wanted a menu heavy on fresh local produce and no red meats. Sue sent a menu in advance, and we could change it anytime we wanted to. It had a checklist of ingredients to see if I already had anything. She showed up, brought all the ingredients I didn’t have, cooked in my kitchen and cleaned up afterwards. She left everything in containers (mine) with instructions on how to heat. The food was good, fresh and mostly local. You could eat when you wanted to and there were no long restaurant waits. There were generally leftovers for a second meal. We have varied the number of people she was cooking for, and Sue accommodated us. The cost was more than for fast food and less than for a first class restaurant . It is great for when you are stressed and want someone to cook comfort food for you.Sep 8, 2016

SoVa Local Taste - has changed the way we cook! Sue - has been wonderful for me and my wife - with many tips, recipes, and even on the spot modifications. It has been great taking private lessons!
