Introduction: Hi my name is Padraig and I'm the owner of Cerberus protection dogs and cerberus training academy. We are canine behaviorists, dog trainers, obedience trainers, dog groomers, Protection dog, service and therapy dog trainers and military dog trainers. We work from our shop in Alexandria and our new facility in La Plata Maryland but we travel all over the DMV. I hold many certificates for dog training including, canine behavior. We also have board and train packages available

The trainer we worked with was fantastic! Everything from great communication to working with our budget and very knowledgeable about what was going on with our dog. We had rescued Bubblegum at a Rescue Alliance in DC, she is a 50 pound dog between one and two years old, and when we got her from the shelter, they told us all these wonderful things about her and how she was great for the family. When long and behold, when we brought our dog home, there were a lot of things the Bubblegum was showing us that we never saw at the shelter, and when we went back to the shelter to tell them what was going on, they had no words and couldn’t figure out what was going on! This training company really gave us the answers that we needed for her, and we weren’t sure why our dog was doing some of the behavioral habits she was showing us, the trainer we worked with figured out certain habits that she was doing and why she was doing it and worked with us to train her on how to approach some of her behavioral issues and even told us and showed us how best go about training her and even walking on the leash with her. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and answered a lot of our questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be coming back for more training for our dog Bubblegum!! if I could give this place 💯 stars, I most definitely would in a heartbeat! They did a fantastic job, and I will most definitely be coming back to get a little more training for a dog!

I was really worried that my dog was aggressive but after one session I found myself so impressed with her immediate change in behavior. It was such a relief to see her positive response to the training. I’m very happy I went with Cerberus Protection it was a great investment.

Pleasure to work with this company and have seen our pups happier and more confident, even after 1 session. I have had a lot of fun training my 3 big dogs. He knows behavior and how to understand, recognize needs, and respond to behaviors which results in a more confident dog.

I am so impressed with my OEB, Vitani’s behavior since boarding with Cerberus for a week for their training academy. The team was brilliant at working with her bad habits and transforming her manners and overall temperament to become a more calmer and confident dog, overall. I am so glad I chose them for services and I entrusted my dog to their camp for behavior improvement. It was so worth the investment and time spent, working with my dog to become her best self. I sea great improvement within her.

I send my two huskies there for two weeks boarding training, Eric really did an excellent job, more that what I expected! Now they have no more aggressive action, they obeyed my order to sit down and they walk by heel now, no more pulling the leash! Good Job Eric! I don’t feel regret sending my dogs to Eric! I will highly recommend this place and Eric, also, affordable price.
