I had an awesome experience with Doug. My husband and I wanted pendant lights above our kitchen island and he was able to get it done and not have to create any additional holes in my drywall. I was super excited about this because it saved us money and it was a little more difficult for him but he was willing to go the extra mile. Also we had forgotten about changing our bathroom vanity lights and he was able to get that done same day. I would highly recommend Ancient Electrical Services. Doug is very professional. I hired him because I was having an issue with my ceiling fan/light fixture that was installed by someone else. The fan and light would trip the breaker and take out all of the lights in my master bedroom and I was told by the individual that installed it that it was the fan and not their work on the installation or wiring. Doug came out to my house to troubleshoot, he was punctual and very professional. He identified the problem with in 10 minutes of being there, which by the way was the installation. He was able to fix it and the fan has been working properly every since. He also told me that if I continued to have the problem to text him right away. I have't had to contact him because the fan works fine now. I plan on hiring him for some more electrical work that I need done in the coming months.

Doug did excellent work and was very personable and easy to communicate with. Competitively priced and he went above expectations by helping us solve an electrical problem that we had in addition to the recess lighting job that we hired him for. Definitely hire him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can’t speak for anyone else but myself but I feel like I give fair prices. Based on the description it’s hard to give you an exact without looking at the actual job. I like scoping out the job for a more accurate price and also gives me the chance to formally introduce myself to the customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I like to meet the customer so that he or she can see the person who is going to be doing the work and hope that he/she can feel comfortable with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 4-year electrical apprenticeship education and 8 yrs plus in the field working side by side a master electrician.
