Brook worked with us on a kitchen & bathroom remodel and new flooring in our 1BR/BA apartment. She was a delight to work with, very responsive, and created a beautiful finished design for us. She was quick to correct the minor issues that inevitably arise during renovations, and even helped fix an issue with our new faucet that arose over a year later. I highly recommend working with BB Designs & Remodeling.May 16, 2019
I had many people come and sit with me but Brooke was amazing on design and availability. She brought everything to the house and gave us a vision of the project we wanted.Feb 14, 2018

Thank you so much Carla! You and your family were a pleasure to work with as well and we look forward to working with you again in the future!
I highly recommend BB Designs and Remodeling. We used them for our kitchen remodel and had a fantastic experience. Brook of BB Designs and her contractor Lou took the stress out of the whole kitchen renovation process. As soon as we met them we knew that they were our people. They were easy to talk to and they listened carefully to our descriptions of our family life and what we wanted out of our new kitchen. They were responsive and had many ideas. They took what would have been hours upon hours of conversation between just me and my husband and made it much more efficient because they were able to rein us in and keep us on track both in terms of what was possible and also what was in our budget. The aspects of our new kitchen that we love most are things we never would have though of on our own. It was extremely valuable to have Brook's help with the design aspects. Instead of looking at hundreds of options for each decision, we just had a few. If those didn't work she would listen to what we wanted to change and find another few options. She was professional and helped to keep the whole project on time. We were never pressured to spend more than our budget. In fact, Brook didn't even present us with options that were out of our price range. She was honest, trustworthy, and fair and she found great deals for us. She knew which materials would work best for our family with small children and which companies make durable but beautiful furniture, appliances, drawer pulls, etc. In addition to being so helpful, Brook was also just nice to have around. She has a calming presence and never seemed stressed despite all the work she must have been doing behind the scenes to help our kitchen turn out so beautifully. She was a joy to work with!May 24, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We work with all different types of budgets! Some clients just need help getting started and don’t need us to be there throughout the project. For those clients we have flat rate jumpstart packages that are very affordable and allow the client to start their design off on the right foot and handle implementation on their own. However, we also have clients that want us there throughout the entire process, providing selections, doing procurement, overseeing construction and/or providing labor. For those clients, we have an hourly rate and we take everything off their plate and handle all the details for them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We never rush a client into a decision! First, we like to start off with a phone call to get a better grasp of the needs of the client and the best way for us to work with them and their budget. If a fixed rate, short term relationship is the best option then we will get that underway and scheduled. However, if it looks like an hourly and ongoing relationship is a better fit for their project, then we offer a free initial consult where we would come out and do a project walk-through and discuss all the details and project minimums before the client makes any final decisions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I grew up in the industry. One grandfather was a carpenter, my other grandfather was a mason, my older brother was a contractor and my mother was a realtor. It only made sense for there to be an interior designer in the family!
