FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we open our communication lines however the customer chooses. It's best to have a phone conversation so we are both on the same page. The best way for me to be prepared for your trial visit is if the new customer sends me a headshot style picture. From there, we can schedule a trial service and book the main event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the most prestigious makeup institute in New York City. Make-Up Designory (MUD) school is designed to maximize creativity and reinforce the skills that are required to work at a professional level in today’s make-up industry. We teach the importance of research and preparation, mixed in with lab work and assignments. As part of this process, we combine short lectures with a hands-on approach that enables students to learn the basics of a given application. Our students learn by doing and are able to get to work on the first day of class. As students master skills, they are encouraged to incorporate them into more complex applications.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I work on are weddings and special events. Through my graduate training courses, I have worked on multiple photoshoots with celebrities in NYC.
