My son takes piano lessons from Jordan who is an amazing teacher and musician. Jordan provides musical pieces that suit my son's taste and this makes piano lessons and practice much more interesting for him. Besides piano lessons, my son participated in Damon's guitar camp which was an excellent experience for him. Musical talent pervades the studio. In addition to this, on the business side of the studio, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We truly appreciated them all!

He is very nice and patient. I like that he travels to my home for the lessons. He gives a nice balance of practicing with him and homework.

I have been taking my daughter to The Music Loft for piano lessons since they opened in October 2010. This is a "different" kind of music store. It is all about teaching students with all else taking a back seat. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating when schedules need adjusting. Often I spend the whole 30 minutes waiting for my daughter conversing with Jason in a very relaxed atmosphere. I'm contemplating starting lessons here myself later this year

Sarah has been giving our 5th grader flute lessons for the past 5 months. She is professional and prompt, and explains technique in a way that is very accessible to an elementary student. She also teaches by example, playing along on her own flute at certain points in the lesson. We've been very pleased with our child's musical growth, but also very happy that she is enjoying playing/practicing the flute.

    About

My work stands out from others who do what I do because my lessons produce performances on any scale; whether in your bedroom, in the living room for friends and family, on the stage at church or at the U.S. Capitol. The common denominator is that no matter where you are playing or whom you are playing for, you will play quality music. What I love most about my job is the people. I love seeing them grow and become the best musicians and performers they can be. Most of them come in with no musical backgrounds and they flourish into superb musicians.

    About

I teach children how to submerge themselves into music. We'll learn scales, tempo, and how to read sheet music; all the basics. Once that is learned, I search to find what will keep them interested in playing a horn. Teaching children and adults music is more about enjoying the atmosphere they're in, while learning new concepts that tie into each other. My pricing is reasonable and we can set up a pricing package to accommodate your budget.

    About

I offer saxophone lessons in my studio in Howard County, and my home studio in the Station North Arts District in Baltimore, MD. I hold a double master's degree in saxophone performance and jazz studies, and I have completed coursework for my doctoral degree in saxophone. I enjoy working with students of all ages, and my students have gone on to win all state chairs in five states. I am well versed in the classical repertoire of the saxophone, but I am also steeped in the jazz tradition. Whether you are looking to prepare for auditions, interested in jazz improvisation, or simply want to better your skills, I can help. I pride myself on being able to teach anyone the intricacies of this wonderful instrument. I have performed across the United States and abroad in almost any situation, from orchestras to funk and rock bands to my own jazz groups. Please contact me if you have any questions!
