Introduction: Hi! I am a recently retired 15 year teacher. Having 2 degrees in Elementary & Special Education (LD), I can teach any level in K-12. I specialize in Reading (beginners: fluency & comprehension, non- fiction, fiction, vocabulary building) and Writing (BME paragraphs, journal practice, letters, resumes, research, topical projects). My price is based on having + 15 years experience teaching, 2 degrees, & success in growth. I offer discounts with groups.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First an interest survey about the subject to be taught (preferences of topic, learning style, successes). Then I would research their levels from previous schools (with parental permission) and test current levels to set goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. in both Elementary & Special Education (2 degrees)
