Introduction: A registered minister in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I've been conducting marriages for over a decade. I'm happy with theme weddings (e.g. I've done two pirate theme wedding), civil, or religious ceremonies and will be happy to work with you to customize your ceremony, help you write your vows, plan the actual service, and generally make your life a little easier. Note that for a religious wedding, I'm happy to marry you in the name of God or Christ but not the flying spaghetti monster, Eris, Zeus, etc.

Ron sat down with us on very short notice, which was very nice of him, since we were in a hurry to get married. We went over the vows together and decided what we wanted essentially the night before, and he was there promptly to officiate the day of the wedding itself. He was extremely courteous and very accommodating despite the rush we were in. Over eleven years later, we're still happily together!

Ron was fantastic! He was kind enough to travel an hour out of his way to perform our ceremony, spent time filing out our forms and gave me suggestions for the legal steps for after the wedding! We enjoyed having him perform our ceremony! I would highly recommend him to anyone I know!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with them either by phone, email, or in person (or a combination) about what their vision is, if they have one. If they're not sure what they want, I talk about options, and share some wedding services I've written, or common ones, and we talk about what they like or dislike about each, until we've zeroed in on what makes them happy.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A couple wanted a pirate themed wedding. I wrote a service in character as a pirate minister, did up pirate vows, etc. That was fun. But in general, any time I can make the wedding be a good memory, it makes me happy.
