Introduction: Hog-It-Up BBQ is a grand champion, professional Kansas City BBQ Society registered BBQ team and we actively compete throughout the East Coast and into the Midwest. With that distinction and the numerous awards we have for BBQ, we also like to cater for events and do some event vending. Our goal is to allow good folks to try truly what is considered premium quality BBQ and those foods that compliment BBQ. We can impress and either cook onsite in our fully licensed and inspected catering trailer or simply deliver a turnkey solution to your site. We can deliver and setup either buffet style or a plated service, and afterwards, we can cleanup or we can accommodate just drop offs. Some of the woods we smoke with are hickory, cherry, alder, Georgia peach, Virginia apple wood, white oak and mesquite. Some of the items we offer are the following: - Real Texas brisket, not that roast beef you get from others. The Pitmaster's a Texan. - Texas style dry rub or St. Louis style sweet and heat pork ribs - NC, SC, GA and typical pulled or chopped pork with all the fixings - Chicken, lamb, whole hog, goat or seafood such as smoked steelhead, salmon or oysters. You name it, we can cook it to perfection. We can make any event a special occasion simply by focusing on quality foods and excellent service for our customers. Had Hog-it-up cater my New Years Day party and can't rave enough about EVERYTHING!!! From the initial communication to the delivery everything was perfect!!! Service gets an A+ for sure. Now lets talk BBQ!!! The food was outstanding! My guests are still raving about it. Brisket, Pulled Pork and Ribs were killer!! I am happy that I had some leftovers to keep enjoying the food for a few days after. Food gets an A++!!! :-) Only thing possibly better than the food are the people. Mike and Michelle are class acts and super nice folks (so I guess that gives them an A+++ rating ;-) )! I WILL be using them for future parties and you should too!!!

Not only does Hog-It-Up have the best brisket around, Mike and Michelle Lackey are some of the nicest people around. I decided that I wanted to server brisket for Christmas dinner and contacted Michelle; she walked me through the entire process of ensuring a wonderful meal. Michelle provided some great ideas of sides to compliment the brisket. Mike had the brisket cut and vacu-sealed and all I had to do was reheat. One of the best meals I've ever had. My guests were picking at the meat before I could ever get it plated. Do yourself a favor and experience The Lackey's delicious Hog-It-Up BBQ!!
