Kenny gave me a very reasonable estimate to remove a large, dead, red oak in front of our house. This was approximately a 70' tree, Kenny climbed it himself to rope and cut in sections, and he made the last cut to the stump approximately 2 hours after he started. He avoided damage to half a dozen ornamental trees in the area, which made my wife happy. It was clear from conversations on multiple landscaping topics, Kenny knows his stuff.

Mr. Smoot & his team called the night before and the morning of to confirm that there was no change in plans and to let me know they were here that morning. They did an excellent job taking down the tree, grinding the stump and then grinding and pulling out the large surface roots. They cleaned up and hauled away all the debris, then filled in the areas. I was so impressed that I have planned for Mr. Smoot & his team to do a major landscaping project. I will recommend him to others.

Kenny & Matt are awesome. I had them fix my lawn - grading, drainage, new sod, edging, cut back bamboo, etc - and my trees. They were competitively priced (I got three estimates). They diagnosed our tree problem (including that one tree was hollow) and turned out to be completely right. They brought down the huge, hollow tree. The trimmed the other 4 oaks we have. The job they did with the lawn is just, wow. The lawn is bigger. They didn't just cut the bamboo, they dug up the roots and stumps to make sure the lawn was smooth. The drainage was corrected so that there aren't pools of water on the new grass. They trimmed the trees back so we have a lot more sunlight. Great work. They also trimmed the front yard - pulled up the weeds, ivy and virginia creeper, trimmed some hedges, bushes and trees. As a courtesy, they planted some plants I'd bought. And they knew what they were doing; underneath the ivy and weeds they found a few azalea bushes and saved them. Anyone whose known the frustration of having landscapers pull up your "weeds" only to discover it was actually your beloved plant, Smoot's Lawn and Tree care are your guys. Oh, and they're really nice and pleasant, showed up on time, and finished in just two days. I've already asked them to come back to do some other stuff.

We had a mess in the back of our yard from decades of previous owners' inattention. I wanted to plant a woodland garden there so Kenny and his crew came in and hauled out broken limbs, cut down dead trees and low branches, pulled out ragged underbrush and left the area graded clean, neat, and ready for planting. Additionally, they brought in some drainage rock to fix our pitted driveway, per my last-minute request. They were professional, courteous, pleasant and smart. And because Kenny's quote for the work was competitive, I know I made the right choice. I will be calling G&K Smoot GC for any future outdoor projects.

After some late fall tree trimming, our lawn was a mess. We had erosion, exposed roots, no grass. Kenny and the team gave us a reasonable estimate which included grading the landscape, adding topsoil, laying sod, trimming shrubs and adding mulch. While they were there they also fixed a broken fence post and extended the sod to cover a portion of our neighbors yard that abutted to ours so we would have an even look without additional cost. Our yard went from a mess to the show place of the neighborhood. It is important to note because these guys are busy and the Spring was very rainy this process took a number of months. However, if you want an honest deal, hard work and excellent results, these are your guys.

Trying to get a understanding of what the paying customers want and desever for there money.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated 1994. My farther has been doing this all his life and has been successful. So I know what it takes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
One the contractor must be honest and reliable and knows his job. Must have insurance and be a us citizen.
