I've only had 2 lessons so far but, Daniel is very patient & great to learn from. The pace he has me on couldn't be better. I can feel my confidence level increasing due to following his practice instructions.

Mr. Mikkola gave me guitar lessons while I was in college getting a degree in music education. He was a wonderful teacher! He was very fun, encouraging, supportive and caring. I learned so much through my lessons with Mr. Mikkola. He gave me a new love for guitar that I didn't have before. He inspired me to keep learning and enhancing my guitar skills and even start teaching guitar. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to take guitar lessons, or any kind of lesson for that matter. He is a very talented musician!

We've went to Mr. Rick for over two years first for piano then flute. When my daughter was ready to change instruments he was very knowledgeable and helpful on what she might like.

About

I am a guitar teacher and musician. I'm extremely knowledgeable about technique and your advanced styles, such as arpeggios, sweep picking, creative scales, muscle memory exercises, acoustic playing, and electric. I can teach any style you have a desire to play, and I can not only teach you songs but also how to write your own, down to the art of writing the lyrics. I've won all of the guitar competitions in my area, and I teach several guitarists already. I have a more than vast knowledge of music including any genre or any guitarist, and I would love to have some new students to teach. I look forward to hearing from anyone and everyone that is interested, spreading the love of music and teaching you how to create your own is my goal, and I have succeeded with 45 out of 50 students.

About

I am a recent graduate with years of musical experience and teaching. I teach many stringed instruments as well as the piano. I also teach instrument care, playing many genres, recording, and band/track playing. I had no teacher when I started, so I had to figure out all the muscle memory training and what not to do while playing. Afterwards, I was professionally taught and had to relearn everything in the most proper of ways, so I know exactly what you will be going through and what mountains you have to cross, and I know a lot of techniques and shortcuts to help you.

It starts with great commmunication. Treating my clients, who will be mostly children, as equals with respect and genuine interest. Many kids express interest in guitar but never have a teacher who expresses interest in why each kid wants to play.
