- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-I will travel to you for makeup for a fee of $150 per sitting. -I will travel to you for makeup and hair for a fee of $200 per sitting. -I will travel to you to give a custom makeup lesson for $150 per person. -Weddings: Makeup: $125 for the bride (or groom!) and $100 for each additional person. Optional makeup trial, $75. -Film and Photoshoot clients hire me at on a full / half day rate basis (price upon request)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Working as a brand ambassador managing for NARS for five years, I was constantly educated on new trends and techniques. I was passionate about my position there, and as a result often won awards gaining me access to special workshops with their lead international stylist! NARS is a luxury brand that is very much tied into the fashion world, so having that has really kept me informed and on the cutting edge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved working with color. While in film school, I was asked to create all the makeup looks for a fellow student's film. I had a blast and as a result, ended up working at local MAC counter as well as dozens of local independent films, and the rest is history.
