Benjamin installed a new hardwired smoke detector. He was on time, answered my questions, was pleasant, and knowledgeable about his work. I was very pleased. His price was reasonable and much less than another quote I received on Thumbtack. I have already asked him to install a light fixture soon.

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  I do my best to provide fair and reasonable prices. Please let me know if you have a specific budget and I will do my best to work something out to your liking.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  I try to be as friendly and as adaptable as I can with new customers, just as I am with existing ones. I place special emphasis on making a great impression, keeping the work area clean and free of damage, along with ensuring that they are pleased with my work. If there is something that they don't like, I do whatever I have to do to make things right.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I have worked for others for some time performing similar work, whether it be installing home theater systems or renovating a home, and gained much of my knowledge from the training I received on those jobs.
