Darryll at Wade's home design was unprofessional and rude. See his messages to me if you have access to them. He wrote me a contract without describing the work he was going to do. I was not comfortable because with this contract he can do anything and say that was the project. I asked him several times to add a short description of the project and he refused and was impolite.Mar 6, 2019VerifiedWade's Home Designs LLC's reply
This is complete and utter garbage review. The contract he mentions describes everything in detail. He is upset because he was extremely rude. arrogant and I refused to take his money and turned down his work. He wanted a design that did not meet building code and would cause issues later on. I have all of his email and message traffic to prove this. He believes because he wants to hire someone that he can belittle and talk down to people. Stay away from this guy
Darrell provided quality drawings and assisted me throughout the permitting process with Stafford County. Any changes required were taken care of immediately. I would recommend Darrell for any project. Sincerely, M. BlackJan 12, 2015Wade's Home Designs LLC's reply
Mike, I really enjoyed working with you and definitely will be out to see the finished work.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It is based on SF as well as the design. I normally exclude decks and patios that do not have a roof in the cost. I do not charge for changes and also make any changes required by the permitting agency at no cost as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Each customer is different but I work with the customer on identifying 4 major areas in their design Budget for Build Design Wants and Needs Lot layout and restrictions Any specific architectural design that can be included to make it unique.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Tutored with 2 architect firms, skilled with structural design, beam calculations as well as shear wall designs. I have several architects who are my clients and also review designs for security engineering requirements
