Introduction: Our mission is to provide you and your family with excellent care of your animal while you are away. * Boarding I don't blame you if the thought of leaving your pet overnight in a boarding facility upsets you. It's something that I've never done and the reason why I started my business. All overnight boarding is done in my house with the company of my dog and family. Your pet should get along with children and other dogs. I do not use cages or kennels (unless you prefer that). That means sleeping on the couch, watching TV, playing with other dogs, enjoying lots of exercise, and long walks - in short, all the comforts of home. Please note that I cannot accept dogs that dig, bark excessively, are aggressive toward other dogs, or people. Dogs must be familiar with being around children and other dogs. I have a fenced yard for exercise; however, your dog will also be walked a minimum of twice a day while staying with us. I ask that you bring bedding that smells of home and a toy or two that your dog plays with. This helps your dog settle in better. * Dog Check In/Walking If you are working late or will be gone for long periods of time and need for your pet to be walked or watched in and from your home, we are here for you! If your cat loves the special attention and needs some play time or if your dog just cannot hold it throughout the day, we will check in and see that your pet's needs are met. * In-Home Sitting You may choose to keep your dog in your home during your extended trip. If so, I will come to your home and play with your dog during the day and evening. These visits include feeding, play time, mail retrieval, plant watering, and administering any special needs to your pet. If you are outside of a 10-mile radius from the local Montclair, Dumfries, area, an additional fee of $10 will be charged.
