Christine has been working with my husband and me for about 6 weeks, teaching us to train our Goldendoodle puppy, Kasha. She first talked with us to understand our goals and explained that her approach is 100% positive and dog friendly. Christine has limitless patience with her human and canine students, and Kasha has responded beautifully. Our puppy has learned to sit, lie down, and walk nicely on a leash and is learning to stay, come, trade, and politely greet people. When we (the owners) stray off course, Christine gently and consistently reminds us of what we need to do and to progress in small increments. She's also helped us through potty and crate training and has helped us break Kasha of jumping on us/furniture and teething on us. Christine and her techniques are definitely working for us, and we are confident that our puppy will grow into a well behaved dog. We are pleased to recommend Christine highly.

Christine has been a wonderful help and great trainer! We adopted our dog from a shelter and we needed help with his confidence and fearfulness. We were not sure about his history and we wanted to make sure we were not part of the problem. Christine has helped us get better at idenitifying the body language and understanding the behavior of our dog. We really like the positive reinforcement used with the clicker training and our puppy responds great to it. We also appreciate how she is always available when you need her with something you may not be sure of. She has provided a wealth of reading material and she knows what material you need based on your dog. We would definitely recommend her to a friend.

Christine is an excellent trainer and really goes above and beyond to target a puppy's specific needs. She really helped us improve our puppy's behavior and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with a new dog. I do not think their is another trainer in the area that loves dogs and is as committed to helping a family deal with a puppy misbehaving as her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All new customers begin with a consultation which runs $195. During the consultation, I assess your dog, learn about your goals for your dog's behavior, get management up and running to give you immediate relief and safety, and go over a training plan with you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you request my services, I will set up a time to speak with you by phone to learn a little about your dog's behavior and your goals, then we set up a consultation to get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Christine is a Distinguished graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers, which is a world renowned, comprehensive and rigorous 2 year program in dog training, behavior consulting and behavior modification. Christine is also a Certified Fear Free Training Professional who can help your dog (and you!) feel better about routine veterinary procedures and grooming. She is also a Pat Miller Certified Trainer and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Finally, Christine pursues continuing education and maintains her professional certifications by attending conferences and training seminars.
