FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Photography services are like dining. The options range anywhere from fast food to 3 Michelin stars. With photography, quality and service come with a price. I am not the highest priced photographer in the area, but if you are looking for an inexpensive photographer to "snap a few pics for a holiday card", then I am probably not the right photographer for you. My clients are looking for something special and they appreciate the quality that I provide. I have clients that spend in the hundreds on a nice collection of basic mounted prints and others that spend in the thousands on high end framed wall art. But no matter what they spend, all of my clients receive the highest level of service and the best possible customer experience that I can provide!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with an initial consultation during which I will learn about my clients and what they are looking for in their portraits. Together we will decide whether to complete the photography session in my home studio or at a location of the clients choice. About a week after the photography session, we will get together again for a design and ordering session. During this time I will help you select products that will suit your needs and your decor. Your finished products will be fully retouched heirloom quality prints that you will be proud to display.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began studying photography back in High School and College. I am a Certified Professional Photographer, a designation carried by less than 5% of photographers in the country. This means that I have passed rigorous written examination as well as strict portfolio critique to insure that my clients receive consistent high quality professional results. I continue to invest in education to continually improve my craft.
