This has been my second time shooting with Paul in his Boston studio and the results and photos I received exceeded my expectations! Not only was he professional and open, but he also explains things as he's doing them so you understand what is going on (for example: Paul explains how the lighting will hit your body, therefore allowing you to create your poses embracing that light source) We both had a few concepts we were looking to shoot to get the MOST out of our session and, together, we succeeded! We made sure each person got what they were looking for out of the shoot, and we laughed the entire time! I highly recommend Paul to anyone looking to get great shots with a down-to-earth photographer! You won't regret this decision!

So at 7:07 am Saturday morning I reached out to Paul to see if by some miracle he would be available for that very evening at 8pm to photograph my son's proposal . He said Yes ! ( a resounding theme). He agreed to go downtown DC and as promised was on the terrace at the Kennedy Center when the couple arrived. He coordinated with me through text the entire time letting me know he had received the head shots and information regarding their attire and that he was there. Paul perfectly captured the proposal and all the expressions that went along with it. After viewing the photos I felt as though I was there in person. He exceeded our expectations. I am so grateful he read the early email request and was so flexible with his time ! Many thanks !

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I NEVER stop learning! I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, and am working toward to become a Certified Professional Photographer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
At the tender age of 6, I was given my own camera and we regularly went out on 'family photo outings'. I've owned a camera ever since, and have grown more passionate about photography every year.
What types of customers have you worked with?
LARA images delights clients with genuine portraits, engaging head shots, romantic boudoir photos, stylish modeling portfolios, and crisp commercial photography.
