I highly recommend Juan for voice lessons. I have sung all my life but wanted to learn more technique to improve and Juan has helped a lot. He is very professional and talented. I can notice many improvements since he started teaching me.

About

Gain The Advantage! I serve the Northern Virginia area. I have over 25 years of experience as a certified instructor and coach. Lessons are conducted at the court of your choice, near where you live or work. Lesson rates are as follows: Private (1): $50 per hour; Semi-Private (2): $27 each per hour; Group (3): $20 each per hour; and Group (4): $17 each per hour. I provide clear and effective instruction to children, teens, and adults at all levels of play. No package deals or other gimmicks are pitched to lure you to take lessons. You are never obligated to take more than one lesson at a time, and I am more than happy to provide references. With the arrival of summer, this is a great time of year to jump start your game or take up tennis for the first time. In addition to being able to set my own hours, I enjoy being able to work outdoors throughout the year. I thoroughly enjoy sharing what I know about tennis to those who are eager to learn. Although I've been teaching tennis for a long time, I still get a thrill out of watching a student learn a new stroke, spin, or strategy to improve their game. Over the years, I've met people from all walks of life, and those experiences have made a positive impact on me both as a teacher and as a person. I look forward to many more years in the teaching profession.

About

A lot of teachers have the proper knowledge of good vocal technique but lack the skills to relay this information to their students in a way that reaches them. I tailor my teaching methods to the individual. Understanding how a students learns whether it be visual or more technical is important. Also knowing the student's outside interests can help a teacher know how to use vocabulary that the student can grasp. I love seeing the progress from week to week that my students make. It is more about how they grow vocally and improve both their skills and talents as well as their confidence. When a student has that small breakthrough in a lesson, it is a moment to celebrate.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced singer, you will have a one-on-one interaction, and you will learn to practice techniques as well as how to breathe and connect with your sound and voice. Students will learn and practice songs of their choice, incorporating these learned techniques, and they will also have the opportunity to perform in a recital. From child to adult, Alexandra wants to help you find your voice! She believes in a nurturing class to encourage exploration of the "singing warrior" within. Alexandra Phillips, a soprano, is a classically trained opera singer and performer who loves to explore the collaboration and fusions of different genres and techniques. She has performed at venues such as the Kennedy Center and Folger Theatre, and she has recently returned from a three-month performance tour in Italy. About

I have been taking vocal lessons from Ms. Gina at Heart Beats for about a month now, and I can honestly say that have improved! I have learned many techniques from Ms. Gina that have helped me discover wonderful things that I never though I could do. Ms. Gina genuinely cares about her students and ensures their success. She is very relaxed and makes me feel comfortable to sing with her. Not only is she a great teacher, she is a phenomenal singer! I would love to continue her classes as long as possible.
