As the tag lines says, "Bill Knows Math"! We hired him for SAT math prep and we purchased the book he recommended, which he knows backwards and forwards. He leads very energetic tutoring sessions revealing his passion for helping kids learn the content. My daughter was more engaged than I've normally seen her with math. His help provided her the confidence she needed for the SAT.

Let me start out by saying that I am NOT a "math person." I've always struggled in all my math classes (Except geometry that involved shapes and vocabulary. Go-figure.) This semester I had to take Calculus for Social Management at George Washington University. I soon realized that I was falling behind, and not understanding the professor or the concepts. I was beyond lucky to find Nema. We spoke on the phone for only 30 minutes the night before our first session- and he proved how much he could help me in such a short time. Nema is an incredible professor. He helped me quickly find my strengths and weaknesses- and is incredibly patient. We reviewed each concept- and the ones I did not understand he was able to explain multiple different ways, and effortlessly provide different example problems. I went from not understanding 90% of the class and having to constantly refer to my notes; to knowing each rule and types of problems inside and out. We worked together many hours to prepare for my midterm- and after many sessions with Nema, that was the first time I had ever taken a math test without freezing up on a problem. I knew exactly what to do without hesitation. Nema is an amazing professor, has a great sense of humor, and clearly loves what he does and it shows!

This company has totally helped my daughter prepare for the HSPT test. Michael has been wonderful to work with and so have his teachers. I can't thank them enough. We didn't even have to leave the home as everything is set up remotely which worked well for us. Worth all 5 stars!!

Paul tutored me for two months for the SAT and ACT. He is very patient and helped me understand tricky math concepts from a new perspective. He knows all the tips/tricks/strategies for raising someone's test scores and he gives great practice resources. When I started the standardized testing process I felt very overwhelmed but Paul helped me raise my confidence in my test taking abilities and in turn, my scores improved dramatically.

Alex helped my daughter prepare for the SAT when she was a junior. He was great! My daughter is a good student, but has severe test anxiety, especially about whether she will finish on time. Alex taught her test taking strategies to help her answer as many questions as possible and had a calm demeanor that worked wonders for her. She ended up exceeding our goal for her score! Thanks :)

Kendra was fantastic. Her entire process was thoughtful and she helped me to achieve my goals. I suffer from test anxiety and she was able to help me build my confidence and develop a great study strategy to excel on my GRE. I would highly recommend her to anyone who would like to increase their GRE/GMAT/SAT test score or needs their work peer reviewed. I also loved that her schedule was flexible and that she was able to meet me at multiple locations.

Barbara has helped my (now 14)-year old with math for going on three years now. Algebra I, Geometry and preparing for several big exams. She is always ready to help with whatever questions come up for him in his classes, prepare for tests, go back over old material to strengthen knowledge, or just celebrate fun things about math. It takes a very versatile mind to teach this well with the changing needs we bring her from one week to the next. We have really appreciated her ability to jump in to help with a sticky question and even consult on a detail by phone if needed. We highly recommend Barbara for math support.

Ms. Fraction arrived on time to perform an initial assessment on my 5 yr old for reading and math. During the 45 minute assessment she was able to keep my son engaged and read his body language so that he wouldn't get bored. The next day I received the assessment report with recommendations. Ms. Fraction express interest in receiving feedback from my son's teachers and results from state tests perform to further help my son.

Andrew Sun To whomever this concerns, Before I signed up with this tutoring program, I was not very good academically. In fact, I was the worst in the toolshed. Knowing that I have no time to lose and my bleak future is upon me, I did what many people think it's best; To join the military. I didn't know what to expect of the navy to be honest, so I was unaware of the test you need to take called the asvab. My heart sank a little. I began searching on the Internet, looking for a tutor (especially on math) until I found out about Theo. Theo is the CEO for student circle and unlike other tutors; he is the only one that stood out. He is understanding, ambitious, and kind, but most importantly he can relate to you, creating a special bond which prompts you to succeed. So I explained to him my situation and he set me up with another tutor by the name of Xin. Right off the bat both of us got along and he helped me through two grueling months. There were times when I wanted to give up, but he was there for me. The funny thing is, he is going through an exam as well during my time with him, so he is the hardest working tutor I have ever came across. I swear, these two do actually care about me because when I took the asvab, I scored high enough to achieve some of the most coveted jobs the navy has to offer! These two will forever be part of my family. Student circle has the best sessions as well as memories. Thank you. Andrew

Viven did an excellent job ensuring my daughter understood the fundamentals as it relates to Algebra. He worked diligently with her on pending assignments and always did a thorough and detailed review of prior tests and upcoming exams. Viven helped my daughter secure an A in Algebra when she had never ever seen the material prior to this school year.

While we are still waiting on the final scores for both of our daughter's SAT test, Les provided what we asked him to do, with the wisdom of a father and instructor and that was "how to handle the questions you don't know the answer to." We had a limited time to prepare for the test and Les was able to cover a lot of ground. Hiring him one on one, enabled us to adjust his teaching and customize to the needs of our daughters. He also proved to be a good sounding board for us as we worked the system. I would be happy to provide a recommendation for Les.

Excellent ACT/SAT tutor I was referred Dr. Reetika by another mom from my sons class. She truly helped shape his career. She helped my son to prepare both for ACT and SAT to identify which works better for him. In the end my son took both the exams and did well on them. There were times that I had difficulty keeping him accountable but Reetika had a good balance of being a tutor and sounding board for my advice. I recommend Reetika to anyone needing help in test prep or honors classes of their kid

Dr. Amy helped my 8th grader prepare for the TJHSST & AOS entrance tests. She gradually trained him with the critical reading and writing components and motivated him to get out of his comfort zone and try new techniques and approaches to score higher. I would highly recommend her.

Jessica and her team at Modern Muse Education are sincere, intelligent, and professional. Their new Gaithersburg facility is wonderful and provides students with a comfortable place to get test help (she even provides snacks!). Jessica and her team are not only extremely patient and educated on the test themselves, but also connect the testing content to public and private school curriculums, customizing a student’s test prep course based on their current grade level and course schedule. The course provides students with everything they need to succeed on the test, as well as how to evaluate their test scores to identify what they need to improve on future tests. I 100% reccomend Modern Muse Education for all students in need of SAT/ACT prep!

Les was a great, positive and an encouraging tutor for my son. He helped my son prepare for the Catholic High School entrance exam (HSPT). He was always positive in explaining how each section would work. He worked with him and encouraged him every tutoring session. I believe with his help my son went into the test well prepared. My son was accepted in all of his schools, Gonzaga and St Johns. My son really enjoyed working with Les. He took him time and he really cared and even checked up on my son after his test to talk about it.
