Very thorough job. Spent the time to do the job right. Very satisfied with the welding work done as well as the furniture repairs.
Walter showed up on time, got the job done quickly and correctly, and didn't leave a mess behind like some plumbers I've dealt with in the past. Not only would I recommend him for a future job, I've already taken my own advice -- he's also a general contractor, and I'm already using him for an exterior house repair this weekend.
It went very well. Jonathan was able to provide us with guidance on fixing our problem with a furniture we had order without charging us but we loved his work ethic so much that we hired him to do our blind installations and he does such a good job. Hopefully more jobs to come down the road.
I hired RB to repair drywall which included knicks in @ four places plus three holes from door knobs hitting into the drywall; repair wooden gate which included re-nailing to slates (+ RB further fortified gate a little extra at no charge); drywall repair over stove from water/ heat damage; installed 3 door stops; screwed on two vents (no charge) and repaired part of the fascia/ soffit on roof which was disconnecting from roof. He arrived when he said, did more than I asked him to do, finished early, repaired the drywall very well/ no visible signs, and quoted a reasonable price on the jobs I hired him to do. I would hire him again.
I hired Antonio (Tony) Sanchez from Renaissance Restoration to complete a kitchen renovation this past fall (sorry I did not get around to completing this review sooner!). I did all the demolition, but the job included lights and electrical, plumbing repair, cabinet and counter top install, appliance install, and painting. Tony gave a very reasonable estimate and personally worked on my project with his assistant from start to finish as opposed to having one of his employees complete the job. As he began the job, he soon realized that virtually nothing from the original construction was square (townhouse was built in 1987). However, that did not phase him as he had the skills to adjust making those imperfections unnoticeable in the end. In addition, Tony has skills in most of the trades which meant that he did not have to sub different parts of the job out; he did all the electrical, plumbing and carpentry himself. The best part of my experience working with Tony was that he discussed and explained different options or ways of completing a task to ensure there were no surprises, and I was impressed with his willingness to even teach me a little along the way. He was flexible in allowing me to have a friend install the tile floor and was understanding of my need to stick to a rather tight budget. There are only two comments I could make for overall improvement: cleanliness and timeliness. On a couple of occasions, I had to discard empty food containers and drinks that had been left behind. I attributed this to oversight and could be easily improved by making an effort to clean up the work site after each day of work. Considering it was not a space I was using though, it was not that big of a deal. As for timeliness, the project took longer than expected to complete. However, I know that my involvement did have some impact on the schedule and the fact he was doing the work himself while still managing other jobs is a factor. I would not hesitate to bring Tony in for another project in the future. I am completely satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone.
We discovered our master shower was leaking into our dining room due to an issue with the original shower pan. Matt came out and gave a great estimate to repair the shower pan and replace the tile in our shower. During the entire project, Matt took extra care to ensure the house remained clean during the work. Each day he would ensure protection was placed by our front door, stairs leading up to the second floor, and bedroom to prevent damaging the house. At the end of each day, he would remove the protection so the house could be used as if no renovation was happening. Matt completed the work on time and the new shower pan and tile work looks amazing. He was very professional and had a great attitude throughout the entire process. We are extremely happy with the work Matt completed and are planning on using him to finish renovating the rest of our bathroom. We would highly recommend Matt if you are planning any tile work.
Gennaro was very responsive & kept us informed of his arrival. He was on time and very courteous. He was very careful getting large furniture out of the house causing no damage. His fee was very reasonable. We would use Gennaro again. Strongly recommend his services.
Mr. Grover was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in repairing our furniture. His prices are more than reasonable. If you're looking for an excellent wordworker, call Mr. Grover.
Needed mold remediation and drywall repair after finding out my 3rd floor deck has been leaking water behind the siding. Was contacted immediately after I put a request in and was provided a thorough quote for work to be performed. Work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. Will definitely use Unlimited Resources again.
I hired Don to repair a mahogany table leg that was badly broken. He was quick to respond to my email and arrived at my house on time to view the table. Don walked me through the repair and detailed how he planned to fix the leg with a written estimate. The repair was completed ahead of schedule and it exceeded my expectation. Don was highly professional and showed skillful craftsmanship in his work. I highly recommend Don for woodworking repair and restoration.
We hired Mr. Armaza to paint over and repair 20 years of damage from a growing family. His crew were clean, efficient and completed the job with little impact to our family. In addition Mr. Armaza took care to restore or improve the house to its original condition which is exactly what we wanted. We fully recommend Bellacasa Handyman Services and Raul Armaza.
Had Al do a small bathroom remodel/repair and couldn't be happier with the service. Not only did he come out quickly and give a reasonable price, but also worked with our hurried schedule, and came mostly weekends to finish the job on time. Sorry Thumbtack, its been good but Al is my go-to from now on.
We had several small repairs done to some of our nicer furniture pieces, and those were done perfectly. On a larger repair job on a computer hutch, I had little hope anyone could repair it. It had a broken latch on the drop down and when the latch broke it fell on one of the bottom doors and completely snapped it off the hinges. Not only where they able to repair the hutch completely, you cannot tell it was ever damaged. I will definitely use them again. Spence was very detailed and ensured the work was done to our satisfaction.
Carlos refurbished (well, basically rebuilt) an old coffee table that was not expensive, but held a lot of sentimental value for my family. He was nice and responsive, and we are thrilled with the final product. I will definitely call him again if I ever have another need for furniture finish or repair!
This company was extremely accommodating due to the short time frame we had to get the repairs completed. Emington is very hands on and professional. He kept me updated through the whole repair process. I would recommend and hire them again without even a second thought. THANKS !
I hired Jack to do a variety of work from hanging heavy items, unusual items, a TV, a flag pole holder, a hose rack on brick; to replacing cabinet hinges; to securing door hinges and TP dispenser; to refinishing a cedar chest; to checking garage door tracks for maintenance; to attaching a low profile downspout. I was happy to defer to his judgment on placement of items and repair process. He impressed me with his professionalism, friendliness, being down to earth, and most importantly, the quality of work. I will use his services again and would highly recommend him.
I am an Artist/Professional in the residential business and have seen Eduardo's work first-hand in several homes. I have referred my clients to him for drywall work and rotted wood repair. He is professional, honest, timely and does great work! I highly recommend ECO Contracting.
Mr. Ward was prompt, thorough, and skilled when he repaired a corner of our damaged and collapsing barn. He gave us an accurate estimate before beginning the project, and his work is high-quality. Recommended!

I have been in business for 28 years, performing all types of furniture repair (excluding large upholstery pieces). Some repairs are done in the home while other pieces need to be brought back to the shop for repair. We perform complete refinishing and antique restoration. We travel all of Maryland, DC, and Virginia. We have done repairs for moving companies, cleaning companies, furniture stores and for some government facilities, as well as a long list of personal customers we have accumulated over the years. Keep in mind that when requesting a quote, it could vary once we are able to see the furniture due to the many different sizes, shapes, styles and condition of the furniture. Once a quote has been approved and accepted, we will be more than happy to contact the customer to find out more details. We love to repair/refinish the antique furniture that has been handed down through the family and make it usable and beautiful again.
